breakfast was lovely and a bonus as in self catering no pressure to go at a certain time . lovely view from breakfast table and service was with a huge smile . beautiful grounds wit fruit trees etc. swimming pool was a lovely addition and most welcome. red wine on arrival too die for !!!

“Beautiful place”
Beautiful property with everything that you need to have a great stay. The location is great as well, close to the centre. The lady which deals with the breakfast was lovely and always made sure we had everything we needed.

“Welcoming, confortable and amazing views!”
Breakfast is well balanced and don't be shy to ask for an extra jam or croissant! The lady that serves breakfast and the owners are super nice and humble people! The place really had a home feel, we received a very warm welcome. Although the property is shared with more people it is not many so you don't lose any sense of privacy. Most of the times we were in the pool by ourselves only to be joined occasionally by a family or a couple.

Everything. The photos don't do it justice. The staff are very friendly and actually go above and beyond to accommodate you. It's modern and spacious rooms. The view from the pool is incredible.

Our stay at Quinta Devesa do Monte in Amares was a delightful experience. This place was a true paradise to stay at as a family of 4. Here are a few reasons that we think why: ⁃ The house is located on top of a hill - so you have the most amazing view ( including beautiful mountains) ⁃ The house is walking distance from Amares with a big supermarket and a few really nice restaurants. And Bus stop just beside the driveway. ⁃ Everything is nice and clean - including the pool. ⁃ In front of the house there is a cute vineyard, clementine and lemon trees. ⁃ Despite our language barrier Filipe is the greatest host - super flexible, humble, & generous. We made the choice to stay with Filipe for a few extra days which we definitely didn’t regret.
