Modern hotel,very clean, good breakfast. 15 mins. Down to harbour or into town. Quiet and relaxing. Not for those with walking difficulties.

“Great location and lovely staff”

We booked the hotel last minute so we weren't sure what to expect but everything was better than expected. The room was great. Bigger than expected with microwave, coffee maker, ironing board and iron and even a dish washer. This ment it was easy to stock up on snacks and even breakfast. The balcony was lovely and big and we had a lateral sea view. The pool area is small but it never got too busy and towels were provided. The staff are really friendly and helpful and there is even a working area if you had to do a bit of work with monitors and desks. The beach is only 5 mins away and is stunning and really clean. There is a lovely boardwalk and cafes to have a break for lunch. The boardwalk leads into town for a lovely sunset walk (15mins) or you can walk via the road (10mins) . LOVED 1 - you can rent sunbed x 2 and an umbrella for only €17 per day at the beach 2 - The bus to Lagos goes from the Spar shop in town and is €2.60 each way 3 - The supermarket is just 5 mins away and it big and has lots of fresh fruit and pastries. 4 - The food in the hotel is good and reasonable 5 - The breakfast is fairly standard at €15 or €12 if you buy for everyday - we preferred to DIY or go to a local cafe 6 - Good local restaurants are Local Acorob - great breakfast and delicious cakes - they taste as good as they look. Lovely english waitress Al Dente - really good pizza and great value. Town A Lota de Alvor - great value - try the monkfish

Property was modern & well decorated , we had a studio apartment which was a great size & had a perfectly equipped kitchenette for our 4 days. Balcony was a great size also, I think maybe a bit bigger than most. Bathroom had plenty of storage space & a great size shower. Staff were very friendly, had lunch 1 day which was very tasty. Ideal location for beach & only short walk to the old town.

Been going here for over 15 years - back to when it was as Luna Alvor Bay to date / great facility - lovely staff- well located - only drawback is pool a little small. Also despite being a repeat customer we are never acknowledged for this

Perfect hotel. Clean, modern, great staff, great food at a reasonable cost and great location. Close to the beach and not too far from bars and the main town. Quieter than if you were closer in. Couldn’t fault the place

Didn't have breakfast. All shops snd restaurant and supermarket at least 1km away. Not suitable for elderly or anyone who has walking difficulties

The staff are so friendly and welcoming. The rooms are spacious and spotlessly clean . Food was delicious and plenty of variety.

Great hotel staff amazing comfortable beds 2 min walk from beach not in city centre but taxis and uber are dirt cheap and just 5 min drive from city centre. Or nice walk. Id go back in a heartbeat.
