“Wonderful Sunset house”

Sunset house is such a beautiful, spacious apartment situated within minutes of bars and restaurants in Alvor. The beach was an easy walk away and the apartment is very well kitted out. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. My children loved the pool!

On the surface the apartment looks fabulous. It is large and appears well-equipped. Fixtures, like the tiling and doors are good quality. It's a shame that the furnishings and maintenance don't match up. The view is great. The garage was large and clean and the lift went down to it. The grounds seemed to be well-maintained. It is a good location, with shops and restaurants nearby, and fairly quiet apart from the adjacent building work which looks like it should be finished soon. The cleaners came weekly to change the towels and sheets.

Where we had an issue with the shutter/blind in main bedroom due to a temperamental push button, when reported, no real investigation was followed. It did start working for a short time, then stopped!

Location, size, comfort, view, pool everything, couldn't fault it , 2 min from Alvor Town you'rein town really, 15 min walk from beach . Lovely view and really quiet at night. Very safe for kids.

spotless property, great location, got everything you need for a fabulous holiday. We where met by Claire when we arrived who took us up to the apartment. Good communication and made it very easy and smooth. I would 100% stay again and would recommend it to friends and family.

“Stunning apartment, quiet and really local to the town”

The size of the accommodation with two good size bedrooms and two bathrooms was excellent. The living area is also large and the kitchen has a dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and oven. The balconies are large and you can move from the one at the front to the one at the back to either move into or out of the sun and heat. There is also a built in BBQ in a third small balcony which with the local pingo doce supermarket having an excellent fish and meat counter made a few BBQs great fun for us. The most spectacular view we have ever had out of any apartment we have been in, looking over the estuary allowed the evenings to disappear too quickly and was nice to catch any wind around on the very hot days. You are not overlooked by anyone. The entire apartment is finished to a very high standard, easy to clean and has a lot of nice family type personal touches such as candles and blankets if sitting out very late or if extra windy which we used two nights at the end of June due to slightly cloudier and windier days. There is an air con unit in the main living room which quickly brings the temp down and can cool the bedrooms at night if you leave the doors slightly open however they stay cooler as the sunsets to the rear balcony over the estuary which is lovely to watch. There is also a roundabout at the end of the apartments that is the major route into town, you can see the traffic but distanced enough not to be disturbed by it.
