“Home away from home”

Well equipped, air conditioned, self-catering accommodation in a great location. I stayed with my sister who is disabled, and she was able to move around the apartment without any help, which was great. We ate out more often than in, and only really used the kettle and toaster, but there is a built-in microwave and oven, dishwasher and a coffee machine with some coffee pods. The apartment is lovely, well laid out and bonus for us was having two bathrooms, so no waiting for each other to get a shower. There are two balconies, one with a table and two chairs off the main living space, and one from the twin bedroom, which has two chairs and a clothes airer. The main bathroom has a washing machine which came in very handy. Washing tabs and dishwasher tabs were provided, as were tea towels, a washing up sponge and washing up liquid. We really appreciated this thoughtful touch. We've done many self catering holidays and these things aren't always provided. We were there for 2 weeks, and so cleaning was included on one day, which was a bonus I didn't expect. The Dunas complex itself has a number of bars and eateries. Our favourites there are the Cactos II bar, and Tesouros Pizzaria. The staff are great. It's only a short walk to a couple of other bars and restaurants, snack bars, gift shops, chemist, clothes shops and a supermarket. Lots to choose from in the immediate area without having to venture up the hill to the village. We've been to Alvor many times over the last 16 years so we didn't go up to the village every day this time and largely stayed in that area. We got a taxi to the AquaCentre one day and Praia da Rocha on another day. I would definitely stay at this apartment again. The host, Angela, was very helpful and supported us when we had to make a change to our booking, and we were able to check in earlier than the standard check in time, which was absolutely brilliant, thank you!

“Amazing apartments”

Amazing apartment, great wi-fi connection, close to the beach, close tomsupermarket, great restaurants inside complex. Kitchen with all the devices and tools necessary. Also the pool was amazing, very clean and water on the right temperature and the most important the water was not salty.

Lovely area of Alvor, really central with lots of restaurants around.

Just home from fab time. The apartment was perfect couldnt fault it. Our host was wonderful very helpful. We were two couples staying and the space was just great for us. It had everthing u need and location was so handy to everthing. This was our third time in alvor best place we have stayed in yet. Thanks again to our wonderful host. Would definitely return
