Our stay at Apartamentos Santa Teresinha in Alvor was overall a pleasant experience. The apartment itself is simple exactly as advertised but it has everything you really need. It’s nothing luxurious, but for the price, it’s definitely good value. There were a few minor downsides: there was some mold on the bathroom mirror, and the kitchen lacked sharp knives, which made cooking a bit inconvenient. Still, these were small issues that didn’t affect our stay too much. Outside, the atmosphere was lovely and peaceful. The pool area was a highlight the water was a bit cold but very refreshing on warm days. It’s also quite deep, around 2.6 meters at the deepest point, though it slopes gradually so the shallow end is fine for most people. It’s great for cooling off, but something to keep in mind if you’re not a strong swimmer. Wi-Fi was another mixed point: it worked fine around the pool area, but inside the apartment the connection was very poor, which was a bit frustrating. On the plus side, parking was free and easy, which was really convenient, especially if you’re renting a car to explore the area. The location is quiet, with just a short drive to the center of Alvor and nearby beaches. Other guests mentioned and we agree that the apartments are a bit dated and could use some maintenance. Some furniture shows signs of wear, and a few small kitchen items were missing (like a chopping board or wine opener). Still, the basics were there, and everything worked fine. One of the best parts of our stay was the staff everyone was incredibly kind, welcoming, and helpful, which really made a difference. If you’re looking for a quiet, budget-friendly place with a nice pool and a relaxed vibe, this is a great option. Just don’t expect anything fancy, and you’ll have a good stay.

Well equipped apartment

Very friendly staff, great value for money. Situated on one of the best places of Algarve, Alvor with great beaches and lots of restaurants with traditional Portuguese food and at night full of life in the city. A few minutes of A22 that takes you everywhere in this beautiful region of Portugal. Very clean, self-catering apartament with a full equiped kitchen, air conditioning, and everything was prepared with care and detail to provide us a great stay. The swimming pool is amazing and very well maintained. It's definitely a place to go back with the family again. Loved it. Thank you.

“Peaceful stay with great views”

I was a bit hesitant at first because of some reviews, but this place turned out to be amazing! It was clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The whole atmosphere is calm and relaxing, and the view from the property is just beautiful. I especially enjoyed the pool – a lovely spot to unwind – and the convenient parking made everything easier. It's true that the location is a bit remote, but if you're traveling by car, it's a perfect base to explore the area. Would definitely stay here again!

Apartment was adequate for 4 adults, it was convenient to pool and cafe - all you would want for a budget holiday.

Huge apartment, well-equipped with everything we needed for our stay! PICKLEBALL COURTS!! Lawn Bowling and Padal right there! Jose and his family made us feel right at home! Can't wait to visit again!

“Nice grounds and outlook but poorly equipped and needs refurbishment.”

The apartment has a large south facing balcony which got the sun from late morning onwards. Parking was easy and the grounds were well maintained. The aircon/heating worked well even though the units were scruffy.
