This is an amazing place to stay Marta who runs it is a lovely lady and nothing is too much trouble The rooms are lovely and clean and decor is beautiful

It was clean and comfortable. The food in the bar was good and reasonably priced.

Central location, great sunsets from the terrace. The shared kitchen is an added bonus. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely little room in the heart of the village. Connected to this bar/restaurant where you’d have included breakfast (really good, healthy, filling) and then could go down for lunch/dinner/drinks if you’d like. Also had a 2 level terrace with incredible views. Would probably come back again!

Very central location. Staff were very friendly and accommodating, offering recommendations for which beaches to visit. Room was spacious and was cleaned for us during our stay.

The Kite centre guesthouse is right in the centre of the town. With the window closed you wouldn't be able to tell as its so quiet. The bar restaurant was great to have at your feet food and drinks in there were great. The breakfast was fantastic and the property was clean and tidy. The sun terrace was also great to have, towering over the town to give you spectacular views of the bay. A nice place to come and relax and watch the world go by.

Marta greeted us and provided a comprehensive guide to all the amenities of the guesthouse. She was very helpful and available if we needed advice. The breakfast was wonderful, every day a new item on our individual table. Lovingly prepared and laid out. The service we received was second to none, We were delighted to have our breakfast in a relaxing, almost zen atmosphere. The perfect start to our day. The guesthouse is relatively small, offering only five rooms. This gave a feeling of true relaxation away from the crowds and was definitely not a 'Brits Abroad' scenario. Perfect for solo travellers too.

“Fantastic guest house in Alvor”

We had a fantastic 2-night stay at the AlvorKiteCenter. Marta is warm, welcoming and friendly. The room was spacious, and beds very comfortable. Bathroom very clean with a good shower. The facilities are great with a shared kitchen if you want to make your own food. There’s a fantastic bar/restaurant attached to the property where breakfast is served. Breakfast was superb. It’s served at the table (not buffet style) with plenty of choice and will fill you up. Only 5 minute walk to the marina. Would definitely stay again. Thank you Marta!

Property was fantastic the staff were all really friendly and helpful. We were there celebrating our father's 80th birthday and the staff helped us decorate an area in the bar downstairs with balloons and banners as surprise.

“Wonderful GuestHouse”

The room was great, you have your own small fridge but can also use a big one in the kitchen, which you share with the other guests. The kitchen is perfect if you plan to stay for longer and want to cook your own meals, it has everything you need. The Guesthouse has a great terrace! There is also a bar (open for the public) which is really great. It has a wonderful atmosphere and great drinks and food. My friend and I had a wonderful stay!
