The room was great - very spacious and clean. The hosts were extremely nice, we loved chatting with them. Breakfast was simple, but good, with traditional products from the region. The view from the room was amazing, we could see both the river and the mountain. Overall, it was a great stay!

“Lovely spacious apartment surrounded by peacefulness”
This was a gem of a place. We had our own yard with a swing for our son, a place to swim in the stream, the natural sound of running water, fresh grapes growing alongside the house and a spacious apartment with a very attentive lovely couple who made sure our stay was wonderful.

Whether you will like it or not, this accommodation as well as the housekeepers are extraordinary. Very traditional rooms in an old house. Excellent location at the edge of a small village in the mountains, just next to a rushing mountain brook. NB: We had booked Casa do Ponte but got a room in Casa da Ribeira. Likely of minor difference, as both the houses stand next to each other, look very similar like and are run by the same landlords. Our room was pretty large and had a balcony, but...

“Very cozy and relaxing!”
I lived in the building named Casa da Ribeira, not sure whether my comments are applicable to the other building. It was very cozy. My room faced the river, and the water noise was so relaxing that I prolonged my stay. The bed was great, and the heating radiator was so hot that I could sleep with an open window. Wi-fi worked fine, you will find the password in the hall. Breakfast is served in the other building. The hosts are a lovely elderly couple who almost didn't speak English, but were so sweet that it somehow added to the cozy atmosphere. You will find restaurants in the nearby village of Loriga (12 min drive from the B&B). E.g. Restaurante O Vicente is cheap and cheerful.
