“Peaceful Countryside Stay with a Lovely Pool and Delicious Breakfast”

The location is in the countryside and very peaceful. I have family just down the road, so I know the area well. You’ll need a car to get around (unless you like long walks haha). The pool is clean and beautifully large—you can see it sparkling while you enjoy your breakfast. I’d read some reviews mentioning that breakfast was limited or lacking in savoury options, but that couldn’t have been further from the truth! In Italy, it’s common to have something sweet for breakfast, but the chef also offered us a delicious omelette on the first day, mini courgette/carrot egg frittatas on the second, and tomato pizza the next day—basically, whatever we wanted. She was lovely. In addition to the chefs offerings each morning there was a beautiful spread: cakes, tarts, fresh fruit, toast, breadsticks, cheese, meats, and more. The rooms were just what you'd expect from a good hotel—comfortable and well-kept, with a very comfy bed! Nice showeroom. We had two standard rooms on the first floor, right next to each other and up the stairs from the reception and dining area. In the hallway outside, there’s a small area with a kettle, tea, and a fridge stocked with water. Nearby is a conference-style room, which we used to eat our takeaway pizza on our first night (they don’t serve dinner). That room also had a few pieces of gym equipment and even a massage chair! Wi-Fi worked well in the main areas. might lose it at the pool outside but my 4G worked fine. Huge full-length windows let you take in the stunning view—it really is a lovely place.

Expectional location and facilities, the breakfast was great and the staff were very welcoming. We combined the stay with a tour in the farm which was very interesting.
