Everything was amazing! So calm and quiet with very very comfortable beds and amazing hot shower! Incredible pool and fabulous food. The staff where incredible and the house was something very special! Thanks so much for having us.

The place is in a world in itself, I honestly believe that even if you don't go out anywhere you can enjoy a laid back holiday on the property itself. The staff was so welcoming and the pool was amazing. It was our 8th day in Sri Lanka and being from India we love our tea the way we make it. No offence I liked the Srilankan tea but we were desperately missing our CHAI 😂 The chef made a fantastic India Chai for us and believe me it was Nirvana. The lake right at the backyards of the house gave a mesmerizing view at Sunset. The house has a great collection of books which you can read at your leisure. The barbeque dinner was really great and we had a great spread of fish, prawns, chicken etc. I would really recommend this place without any doubt. Also there was a massage available on the property that you can book (paid) after you reach but it was very relaxing. We also booked the boat safari from the house and it picked us up from the backyard 😁

“Dream family vacation in Sri Lanka”

We had a wonderful vacation at Aluthgama House. A beautiful villa that leaves nothing to be desired: spacious and clean rooms, a great, very clean pool, a gorgeous tropical garden right on the Bentota River, very tasteful lounges, great service from the staff, including excellent breakfast and great food for dinner. Yusuf is an excellent host who took the time to personally greet us and fulfill all our needs during our stay. He also took the time to answer all our questions before our trip, which we really appreciated! Thank you very much!

“A superb Village by the river”

Everything. The food was extremely good. We ate mostly Sri Lankan food, 'When in Rome' as they say, it was delicious indeed. The pool was probably the cleanest I have swum in. The design of the Villa, the attention to detail and comfort was fantastic. The staff kept the Villa exceptionally clean and they organised massages and river boat trips for us. They were discreet but attentive. I would highly recommended this Villa to anyone who enjoys, great food, the simple luxuries of life, comfortable surroundings and friendly staff.
