The pousada is in a great location - you can walk pretty much anywhere in Alter. The owners and staff are really friendly and helpful - we arrived late but it wasn't an issue. The breakfast is everything you need to keep you going. I can happily recommend it.

“Great place to stay”
Friendly staff and nice breakfast. Even though our toilet flush was weak, after talking to the owner, he organized someone to fix it straight away which was nice and professional. Also the cost benefit is really good.
