We had a great time in this hotel. The food was amazing, the rooms very spacious and everyone was very friendly. It is also close to the center, but a very calm location at the same time. Lots of parking space (outside). Close to several skiing resorts. We will happily return again!

Loved this hotel so much we tried to book in for skiing but it was already sold out! The food, the staff, the rooms, the location, the pool and spa all excellent. Loved the little touches like all the family members' names on the invoice. The man who welcomed us at reception was very helpful and friendly. Dinner was included in the room price and there was more food than we could possibly eat! All of it excellent. Breakfast was also excellent. Easy to walk into town. Lots of parking. Beautiful views. Would recommend.

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful from the very beginning. We were warmly welcomed, everything was explained clearly, and check-in was quick and friendly — it felt like visiting family. The room was spacious with a balcony and stunning mountain views. The bed was firm, but we slept very well. You can park your car in front of the hotel. The hotel has a cozy spa area with a pool, several saunas, billiards, table tennis, and plenty of other activities. Breakfast was excellent, and the 5-course dinner was simply outstanding. Service was impeccable throughout our stay. There are good grocery stores within a 10-15 minute walk, and the town itself is nice for a stroll. We only spent 2 nights here, but we already want to return.

Very friendly staff, breakfast and 4-course menu dinner included in the booking - all of great quality, variety and taste! Very big room, very pretty ambient and great spa facilities. Perfect location with 8Minute walking distance from the thermal bath and the ski bus stopping infront of the entrance. 9minutes with the ski bus to the ski lift at Hochbifangbahn.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever visited. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. All of our requests and questions have been answered, always with a smile. Breakfast was excellent, diner was superb. Great location of the hotel in the middle of Salzburg county, allowing for multiple day trips to top attractions. We definitely hope to come back in the future!

EVERYTHING! We had seen a very high review rate before booking, but our experience was even beyond our high expectation. The owner, Herbert, made our stay incredibly fun and enjoyable. The room was spacious and comfortable, the spa area was very new and relaxing, the dinner was ellegant and delicious! We also booked massage on the day of the check-out to enjoy the hotel until the very last moment.

Breakfast was tasty and large selection of vegetables and fruits, cold (sausages and chees) and hot foods. All came from the nearby region, bio and environment-friendly. The staff is very nice, and there is a family atmosphere in every premises. Hotel is nearby to a forest, good for a nice walk. The dinner is rich, a fine dining with large selection of salad.

I was staying at this hotel for two nights with my husband in July 2024. We got a free room upgrade at the check-in. The attic apartment that we got was amazing – spacious, with a sofa, big modern bathroom with mood lightning in the shower and the biggest highlight – two balconies – one of them with a front view and the other one oriented to a calm meadow belonging to the hotel. The staff was great, too. Everyone from the reception to the restaurant personnel was very nice. They always greet you when you run into each other anywhere in the hotel, have a small talk on how was your day or whether you need any advice on what to do and see in the surroundings. Yet, they were not intrusive in any way. The service they provided met the high standards – the room was cleaned while we were having breakfast, they served the meals at the restaurant smoothly without us having to wait, etc. We took the half-board for our stay. The breakfast was served in a buffet style with wide variety of pastries, cereals, fruits and some mashed/boiled eggs and sausages. Dinner was a four-course a-la-carte menu and you can pre-order the main dish in the morning. We very much loved the style in which the restaurant and the entire hotel were decorated – an elegant alpine chalet with many wooden details and lovely furnishing. In general, we loved our stay here, and would definitely some back.

“Excellent stay for sporty people”

All our wishes were granted during our stay at Urbisgut. We enjoyed the friendly staff and welcoming family atmosphere throughout the entire time. For us, it was a perfect mix of being active throughout the day -also thanks to the amazing hike and bike recommendations by the staff- and relaxing in the evening with sauna and delicious food. The evenings were well spent on the balcony with a breathtaking view and occasional visitors in form of various birds and game. Even all our special dietary requirements were being catered towards and our bikes had a safe and try spot within the hotel basement. There was nothing else we could have wished for except some additional days of vacation to extend our stay. Thanks so much for the lovely time!

You will have a Great overall experience with your family. Accommodation was great, food delicious, spa facilities awesome, playground for kids, very nice staff and great location. We got the feeling as we were in our home, with our neighbors. We look forward to visit again!

Everything was great. We especially enjoyed the kind and warm attitude of the staff. Special thanks for the restaurant staff. The spa is amazing, a blessing after a ski day. There is a skibus station in front of the hotel. The skibus takes you as far as Zauchensee.
