“The kind of place that makes travelling easier”
An excellent find. The self-check-in process was incredibly easy and convenient. I chose a room with shared bathrooms and showers and was pleasantly surprised by how well it worked. The facilities were very clean, well maintained, and never felt inconvenient. The overall atmosphere of the place was relaxed and welcoming. There was parking right in front of the property, the Wi-Fi was reliable, and the staff is genuinely nice, warm and welcoming. As I needed to work the day after check-out, they kindly allowed me to stay in the common areas with my dog, which made a huge difference. I would happily stay again!

the room was a great size. the bed i found comfortable. There was nothing stand out about the room, but it was clean and fit for purpose. supermarket was really close, only a 5 min walk and 2 minute drive. Location was good for Kiel week. only a 10 minute drive to the location.

“Very disappointing”
Number of beds not provided as per description on website. A quadruple room (described as having a double bed, single bed and sofa bed) was missing the single bed. The hotel could not rectify this problem as it was fully booked.

“I know it was Kiel week, but over €200 was very poor value for money”
Lack of facilities -not even water glasses in room. Showers spat water fiercely. Check in too complicated on arrival using iPad system-I had a tired child and dogs-didn’t expect to need to enter passport details to access room key. Breakfast-no teabags.

“Nice, new and quiet hotel just outside Kiel.”
Great location for being able to access Kiel without staying in the city. Tidy, quite and only a 5 minute walk to an amazing supermarket, Familia. The deli counter has so many choices. We took the bus into Kiel during our stay. There's an app that makes booking your transport. Staff helped us understand how to use the app. The hotel was also reasonably close to the EuroVelo 10. They also had a secure place to store our cycles.

“Nice rooms”
Reception was closed when we arrived. We got a message ahead of arrival and it was easy to get in and get the key. Breakfast was in a canteen 50 m from the hotel but you need to go outside. Breakfast was ok but not exceptional.
