Located just outside Altea, this stylish hotel offers sea views and lagoon-style pools. It features 4 restaurants, a fitness centre and an extensive spa with an ice cave and hot tubs. Free Wi-Fi is available. Rooms at SH Villa Gadea come with a flat-screen satellite TV, hydromassage bath and pillow menu. Fully heated and air conditioned, most also have a separate shower in the bathroom. “Amazing hotel, in a good location”
Lovely hotel in a great location. We stayed for 2 nights and the hotel was just perfect for our stay. Breakfast and evening dinner was great you had lots of fresh food and plenty of choices. We had a massage in the spa which was really nice too. All the staff were very nice and very helpful.We will definitely be back

“Our stay was superb, we absolutely loved it”
We stayed at this five-star hotel for just one night, but now we realize we really want to come back and spend at least a few days there. It was the most wonderful hotel we have ever stayed in. From the interior design to the staff, so polite, smiley, and amazing, - we loved absolutely everything. We wished we could have stayed longer. The breakfasts are a huge highlight: they are incredible, with a vast selection, all perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. And, on top of that, every evening, there is a pianist performing in the lobby, playing and singing, and that is another fantastic bonus. Highly recommended!

Having spent three weeks in Japan before traveling to Spain for a conference, the review must be put into context, as nothing could ever be compared to Asian hospitality and service excellency. Arrival: I had time so I chose to arrive by bus to Benidorm and the tram to Altea, which was fine, but from the tram station to the hotel, it is a 20-minute walk, crossing streets… I would not recommend it. Check-in : few minutes waiting, happy to get an early check-in, at 11am ! after some traveling this is very convenient, even though online-check-in had been performed, I was asked to fill out forms again, eventually everything was found. Had reserved SPA treatments pre-arrival, reception was unaware. Room: frontal sea view on ground floor with pool area between building and beach, tiles on the floor which is convenient for allergic or sensitive people, sound insulation is average, cleanliness impeccable, minibar ok, amenities below average, I imagined customer confidence must be low as hangers are fixed to the wardrobe. Spa: first sentence was: “how would you like to pay”. First treatment: massage by a female therapist, below average, she told me to relax twenty times but there was no anamnestic talk, no asking for triggers or areas to focus on. Second treatment, facial, by male therapist, addressing the needs and being quite empathic, skin felt good afterwards The next day, I asked for the way to the indoor pool (which is a definite + to swim) and was only answered “not here”, so not of any help, not showing showers, restrooms, changing rooms,… Dinner: short waiting time, no greetings or small talk but: “room number !?”, escorted to a table for two (solo traveler this time), second plate and set was left though, asked for water and glass of wine, only brought at repeated request, food of average quality, high background noise (tiled floor and big room), many customers on their phone or discussing close to the buffet, sometimes over unprotected food, making hygiene disc
