Overview
Set right on Cap Negret de Altea Beach, Hostal El Trovador offers a free Wi-Fi zone and free parking. All air-conditioned rooms feature a private furnished balcony with sea views. Rooms are heated and have a flat-screen TV and work desk. There are tiled floors and the private bathroom comes with a bath tub. Located next to the N332 Main Road, the Trovador is 1.5 km from the centre of Altea. Calpe and Benidorm are a 15-minute drive away and the AP7 Motorway is easily accessible.

“Hostel Trovador is the GEM of Altea”
This was our 2nd stay in El Trovador hostel. I booked the family suite and it didn’t disappoint us, excellent. This is a real little gem of a hotel/hostel and with the adjoining cafe it makes a perfect couple of days vacation. Javier at the reception welcomed us with a beaming smile….weve stayedmany times in hotel Negret but I am very happy to say that I would by pass the hotel Negret to choose El Trovador every time. I have only one thing negative to say …there is no fridge in these rooms

The accommodation was excellent, very clean in our rooms/bathroom. A big balcony with side sea view. Very quiet and perfect for our 3 night stay. A/C worked very well and bed linen along with bed were top class.

Is a simple room in an oldish complex. With that in mind the room is clean, the balcony allows tondrynypur clothes, the beach is a 2 minute walk from the building…as well as the nice restaurant with breakfast options! Great if you have a car and wanna explore the surrounding area (Altea old town, Algar waterfalls, snorkeling beaches) or just chill in the sun!
