Haus Sonja is situated in a quiet location, a 5-minute walk from the centre of Altaussee, and 5 km from the Loser-Altaussee Ski Area. A free ski bus stops 200 metres from the property, and hiking and cycling trails start on the doorstep. Cross-country skiing trails start 1 km from the house. “Truly beautiful accommodation in a beautiful setting.”
The house is located in a beautiful and quiet area at the end of a cul-de-sac. The apartment is very spacious, with mountain views and fully equipped. The interior is very nice and cozy, featuring wooden floors, wooden furniture, and a sufficiently modern kitchen, bathroom, and a spacious balcony. The village is lovely, offering plenty of opportunities for hiking, with several viewpoints nearby, as well as a mining museum and a shop just about a 2-minute walk away. We were extremely satisfied and I believe the price-to-quality ratio is excellent. I definitely recommend this accommodation.

Charming cottage in Altaussee with a very homely feel and a very nice host with a very fluffy dog. The apartment was comfortably large, clean and equipped with all necessities. A ski room was available with an accessible plug for electric boot warmers.

Apartment was soooo clean! Check-in and check-out were easy. Cozy, comfortable apartment, it feels just like at home. You can find everything what you need there. Breathtaking view deserves an Oscar. Conversation with owner was easy and fast. My personal best wishes to this hospitality family!

We (four) stayed for a New Year's vacation. The appartment has everything you need for a short say, including a small sauna in the basement. Located in a quiet place, although not far from center of the village. The owner is a lovely lady who was willing to answer all questions and help. Can only recommend it!

“Fantastic place in a beautiful location!”
Fantastic, clean and very spacious apartment in an absolute stunning location with great views of the mountains. It is very close to the lake (5 minutes walk), and two minutes to the main street of the village. We liked the place very much and the Altaussee area is one of the most beautiful spots in Austria. We will certainly return in the future and can highly recommend Haus Sonja!

“Perfect place - highly recommendable”
Excellent accommodation for several reasons: - very pleasant accommodation in a neighborhood with houses and gardens with lots of character - easy parking - Near Lake Altaussee (access by footpath in 10 minutes) and a shop - Walk around the lake possible (some lakes in Austria have private accesses which prevent you from going around) - a very nice inn at one end of the lake for a meal or coffee break - swimming and paddle - access to many walks in the area

Amazing place, beautifully located with a view on the mountains on both side of the house (on Loser from our balcony). Some 10 minutes walk to stunning Altausseer See, close to a shop and a great restaurant. Perfect!
