Plenty of free parking. On demand coffee.

Although they had a clearly stated check in time they waived that when we arrived very early in pouting rain. Although room not ready they made us comfortable with complimentary coffee. Room was very cold... underfloor heating not quick to respond ...but spacious and clean .. Bed amazingly comfortable. View was wonderful and would have been enjoyed even more from the private balcony if it hadn't been so wet. Breakfast was OK... not the best we'd had this trip but good enough. Kitchen being refurbished though so no evening meal available.

Superfriendly staff at the morning, perfect communication upfront. Absolutely nice and easy. We had a room with sea view, and it was ...... breathtaking. We just enjoyed for quite a while just the view and sun. :-) The breakfast was nice, the staff was friendly and left us in a good morning startup mood. Thanks for that!

Nice location! I liked the Leaving room in front of the fjord! Worked on my laptop for few hours , took a free coffee and than enjoied the sauna in front of the fjord

the best of this hotel is its location. in front of the hotel is the sea beach. you can see the skyline of the sea from the hotel. I like the view. behind the hotel is the parking area which is free.

The view across the Fjord was amazing. Breakfast was good, dinner at the restaurant excellent.

The staff were extremely friendly, helpful and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay and the lovely sauna they have for an additional cost as well. Would love to come back one day and spend more time in the area. Thank you!

Great location away from the hustle of the other hotel near the cathedral. There are buses available near the hotel. Good restaurant, small menu but everything was great. Good breakfast. The sauna was great with an awesome view.

Wonderful hotel and staff. The breakfast is simple but brilliant, ideal for those who don't need the big buffet at breakfast. The view from the hotel and the sauna next door is the reason we booked this place and neither disappointed.

“Perfect getaway if you want to stay a little outside downtown.”

We had plenty of parking space free of charge. The room was clean and very comfortable. The breakfast had all we needed and offered a good selection. The views from the breakfast room and restaurant are stunning. Checking in was easy and the staff in the morning was friendly. Overall we enjoyed the stay in a smaller privately owned hotel. The city center was within walking distance. The bistro/restaurant is having great food and we enjoyed our dinner here as well.

We stayed here on 2 separate occasions on our way to the north cape and on the way back. The hotel itself is on the outskirts of Alta centre, very peaceful, parking at the front of the hotel was a bonus and our sea view room was beautiful (we could see the aurora borealis from our room) The room itself was cosy and warm, very comfortable bed. We ate here one evening and the burger was absolutely delicious. The staff were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was also very delicious and had plenty of choice. They even made us fresh scrambled eggs. Thanks again for making us feel welcome, we really enjoyed our time in the beautiful Alta.

“Disappointing from A to Z”

A disappointing stay from the beginning to to the end. Although the location of the guesthouse is convenient, it starts with the fact that parking is an absolut mess. As there are renovations ongoing, which nobody dared to inform about beforehand, half of the parking lot is blocked and the guests have to somehow park around the materials for renovation. Due to the renovations you have noise starting in the morning (8 am). The room was the next big drawback. It only looks stylish, but if you looked closer everything was kind of dirty and not working proberly. We booked a room with 2 single beds and wrote this as a request after the booking. And of course we got a room with the worlds smallest queensize bed. As the reception was already closed (18:00), we tried to phone them, but either nobody picked up or hang up immediatly again. Breakfast could not make up for anything. 30 minutes after the start there was no more juice, coffee or warm stuff. And guess what, nobody dared to refill anything. Nor takeaway any empty plates or dirty dishes. The staff just didn't care and really excelled in ignorance. We highly recommend not going there. There are a lot of other options, that are in the same price range, where you not feel robbed and unwelcome.
