“Great chalet cabins, at a great price, conveniently located and run by very friendly people.”
The location is perfect, as it is just south of Alta centre. The family who run Alta River Camping are very friendly and helpful - they made me feel a valued guest, which is why I returned here again this year. The chalet cabins are clean, warm and comfortable - the beds are especially comfortable, and given that I am 6'2" tall, the beds are nice and long, so I have no problems being too tall for them. The kitchen area gives you sufficient options to cook a meal, having both a twin hob and a microwave, plus the fridge is a decent size. I also like the fact that I can park right in front of my chalet cabin.

“Very cozy, well equipped cabin but no hot water”
We stayed in a basic, very cozy and well equipped cabin. The location is superb, we saw some fabulous Northern lights whilst there.

“Noiiiice”
Hildur is a cosy little cabin with toilet, kitchen and a perfectly placed couch to gaze out to spot northern lights during winter, and in summer onto the river. Check in and out was very easy and there is a parking literally 2 steps outside the cabin entrance for the car. Sauna can be arranged upon a small fee. We can really recommend it. P.S. Yes the cabin can be heated enough during winter ;)
