I have booked the hotel in advance. I got my confirmation for booking. Arrived to Germany, then I received the message from the hotel that there is “no room, room is not available!” And my booking was still shown as confirmed, there was no “canceled” status, payment for accommodation was deducted from credit card! I tried to call, reached the hotel after several attempts, but unfortunately a hotel representative could not speak English. It was absolutely awful experience ever!!! To arrive to the country , to have the booked room in the hotel and then a day before check-in to receive the message that I have no room ti stay ! And then afterwards, I was struggling to get my payment back! It took lot of my time , I had to ask my German colleague to call and help!

“Went for the location, stayed for the bread”
We had a lovely stay! The hotel was clean, staff was super friendly and the bread at breakfast was seriously one of the best breads I've ever had - and not only I travel a lot but I also choose my hotel based on the breakfast! (well, it's the priority at least...)

“Very good”
I have just returned from Germany to the UK. I stayed here on my own, visiting friends in the village. It was very quiet and calm. Very clean. The owners were kind and very helpful. With a friendly attitude. I will definitely stay there again on a return visit in the future.
