“Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Zum Post in Alpbach!”

The room was comfortable, clean, and beautifully maintained. The view from the hotel was absolutely stunning. The breakfast was outstanding, with a great variety of fresh and delicious options. What truly made our stay memorable, however, was the kindness and attention of the staff. Everyone was friendly, welcoming, and helpful. A particularly lovely touch was on my birthday when I was surprised with a birthday cake at breakfast. It was such a thoughtful gesture. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Alpbach!

“Wonderful Alpbach”

The village of Alpbach is genuine and cozy. The Hotel Zur Post is somewhat a landmark in this nice village. It's restaurant is very good, nice breakfast and beautiful room. Mine was small but I travel alone during this part of my month in the Alps. The ski bus virtually right outside the hotel.

Alpbach will always be one of our favourite places to visit in Austria. This hotel was exceptional in every way. Beautifully decorated, lovely room with the most spectacular view over alpbach. The restaurant food was fantastic as well as the pizza shop next door. Hearing the cows from the balcony only added to the beautiful experience we had staying in this hotel. To me it would be the pick over all the others, for value, position.. just wonderful.

Really clean and very friendly and helpful

Came with my wife and two daughters for a week's skiing post New Year. A pleasure to visit what is still an 'old school' family owned and run hotel. The village of Alpbach where the hotel is situated is a stunning location within the Tirol and represents the very best example of traditional Austrian alpine lifestyle. Rooms spacious , light, and have what is needed for a family holiday. I was surprised in particular by how good the food was, the restaurant in the hotel serves quality local dishes (all served with style on a pressed white table cloth with a lit candle). The hotel staff were wonderful with my two daughters, and it is well set up for a family skiing holiday - whilst still retaining traditional style and ambiance that can be lost in the interests of maintaining logistics during a skiing trip.

The food was excellent and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff became familiar with the family and there was a lovely atmosphere at the hotel. Dietary requirements were also well understood by staff. Rooms were made up very nicely every day. The sauna in the garden was wonderful.
