Offering a calm hillside location 5 minutes from the centre of Alpbach and its ski bus stop, Haus Postfeld has natural wood furnishings and Tyrolean-style décor. It features a traditional landscaped garden with deck furniture and free Wi-Fi access. Fitted with wood-panelled walls, all of the rooms at Postfeld Haus come with satellite TV and a private bathroom with shower. The balcony in each room offers panoramic views over the mountains and is equipped with seating facilities. A ski storage room with boot dryer can be used at the premises. There is also a TV lounge area, where breakfast is served in the morning. Ski Area Wiedersberger Horn is a 7-minute drive by car or bus. Free parking is available on site. Lake Reintaler See is a 7-minute car drive from the Postfeld.

“Review of Haus Postfeld, Alpbach”
I revisited Haus Postfeld after staying there last year. It is a lovely, small, quiet, friendly pension located at the top of town, 5 mins walk from Alpbach town centre. The views are lovely, and the warm, friendly greeting I got from the landlady very memorable. Breakfasts were filling & superb. I highly recommend staying here!!!!

Hilda went the extra mile in every respect - cleanliness, comfort, homeliness, hearty breakfast, use of kitchen facilities & thoughtful additions. Incredible views from the south facing windows. 5 minute walk to a bus stop.

“The coziest place I’ve ever stayed”
First of all, the house is situated in the most picturesque location overlooking the mountain, just 3 min walking from the bus stop, so you can easily get around. There is also a room to put your skiing equipment and don’t worry about getting to a ski lift, the buses go literally every ten minutes. If you’ve never been to a ski resort in Alps, I think, it’s the most perfect location you can start with. I stayed in a single room which is really comfortable and has all the facilities you need including a small kettle. Hilda, the owner of the place is the nicest and warmest person, always willing to help. All in all, it’s just an amazing place to start your exploration of Alps.

“extremely refreshing”
I love Hilda‘s kindness, hospitality and generosity. And also, I love the breakfast and the homemade jams. It has everything and keeps me full until lunch. And also, I love Hilda‘s little surprises in the room like the fruits, biscuits and chocolates. It‘s as if I am staying at a 5-star hotel. I love the peace and quiet and the beauty of the place.

You have everything you need: a clean and warm room to sleep, a perfect bathroom and even a super cute wooden balcony to chill outside and enjoy the view. The breakfast was also perfect, they had everything one can want. If they have no other guests coming on your departure day they will even let you check out later (for free).
