“A lovely hotel with a feeling of luxury and comfort at the old town of Alonissos.”
A true beauty of a hotel. A perfect balance between classic and modern. We went there for four nights of our honeymoon and had the best time ever. We regretted we didn’t choose this hotel for our whole stay in Alonissos instead of staying at several hotels. The view was amazing, the facilities were great and we felt as home as soon as we got there. Maria was ever so helpful arranging transportation, answering questions and making sure we had a nice stay. She deserves a lot of appreciation. The placement of the hotel in the old town is perfect, it’s just far enough away from the “hub” of the old town to make you feel even more relaxed. The immediate neighbouring restaurant of Astrofegia gives a cozy Greek vibe. We recommend this hotel at the warmest.

“Living Alonissos at its best by staying at Althea Hotel in the Chora”
Althea hotel is a cosy boutique hotel just at the entrance of Alonissos old village (chora), therefore it is perfectly situated,since the old village is where most of restaurants, bars and shops are, but being just outside it is very quite. Breakfast was really nice. Our room was on 2 floors with a nice terrace facing both the sunrise and the sunset. However, as it is often the case, the difference is made by people and Maria (she does almost everything) was simply exceptional in efficiently organizing our stay (including booking for us the car to rent and the boat for a beautiful tour). Bottom line thanks to Maria we had a very nice stay at Althea. Finally, I do recommend spending days in Alonissos as it is a beautiful still wild island.

“Really great place to stay. Sunrise was beautiful”
Maria was very helpful to ensure our stay went well. The property is in a great location. Breakfast on the terrace was a delight and the food was good. The views are mesmerising from the terrace and from the rooms. The photos and information given gave us a pretty good sense of the place and we were not disappointed.

“I would definitely recommend this hotel to others”
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The view was absolutely stunning and created the perfect backdrop for a relaxing vacation. The staff were kind and welcoming, always ready to help with a smile. “Wonderful hotel in a beautiful location”
The view from our room was magnificent. The location (the Old Town) was perfect. The ambience of the hotel was wonderful, making it a very relaxing place to stay. The breakfast was exceptional. The staff were super friendly. We visited fairly early in the season so there were few guests and it felt like we had the hotel to ourselves.

We had the most wonderful stay - this hotel really has the wow factor! Beyond amazing views, delicious breakfast (and very accommodating for dietary requirements) and lovely room! The staff were so friendly and helpful, cannot fault the service. We will most definitely staying here next time we visit alonissos !

“Stunning views & serene setting on the fringes of old town”
Great location in the entrance of the historic town, easy to access, incredible views from the sea view room, really lovely breakfast and shaded serene garden setting to enjoy it in the morning. Beautiful quiet design and lovely kind staff who were so obliging with any of our requests.
