“Perfect stay.”
This is a beautiful property set in glorious grounds in a very convenient location . Perfect for visiting Northumberland’s coastal areas, castles and excellent places to eat. All rooms were luxurious and breakfast was delicious . We were made to feel very welcome by Bruce and Jeannette. Highly recommend. Look forward to returning.

A warm welcome from Bruce and Jeanette upon arrival was complimented by tea in the drawing room of their stunning early 20th century home. Everything throughout our stay was immaculate and we wouldn't hesitate to visit again.

Bruce & Jeanette were exceptional hosts. We were greeted with tea and homemade cake on arrival. West Acres House is a beautiful property set in lovely gardens. Our rooms were spacious, tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. The breakfast menu was extensive and the food was beautifully prepared and presented. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend West Acres House.

Such a warm welcome from the hosts to a lovely property with super decor and art, and comfy stlyish furnishings. Everything is thought about. Even a wee sherry for the room! Great breakfast made to order and comfy beds. And parking! Handy walk into town which offers lots to see.

Beautiful house & gardens. Location was very good 5 minutes into town by car. Breakfast was excellent, a good variety to choose from all local produce (the best bacon we’ve tasted). Couldn’t fault our room, very comfortable bed. Tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps, chocolates which were replenished every day. Last but not least Bruce & Jeanette were wonderful hoists, very helpful & knowledgeable about the area, nothing too much trouble, lovely couple. Would highly recommend West Acre House!
