The first impression was "wow."Lovely entrance/drive nicely kept lawns very nice. We were greeted by our host as we arrived, making us feel very welcome. He had such knowledge of local walks places of interest and recommendations and made it clear that if we had any questions that he was available.As we arrived in our lovely accommodation, there was a welcome hamper, including local produce which was much appreciated.Our rooms where clean tidy and well maintained, the beds where comfortable and the kitchen well-equipped. Wi-fi was super fast. we had a lovely stay, and I highly recommend the Kennalman.

This is a fantastic property, beautifully renovated and very high spec; from the furniture to the utensils and bedding. Probably the nicest cottage I have ever stayed in, I can highly recommend. Very easy to stay in with a dog; and lots of walks locally. The property is well placed for all of Northumberland’s highlights. Richard and Fiona are super hosts, very helpful and friendly and they provided a generous gift basket on arrival.

Communication was excellent from booking. We were given great direction to the property. We were met by Richard the owner on arrival who showed us around the property. The property was lovely everything we were hoping for. Would definitely recommend the property.

Everything! A true home-from-home. Well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds and sofa, sparklingly clean throughout. Welcome package of local produce was a nice touch and I must say delicious. Having our online shop put away for our arrival was amazing - nice chilled wine on a sunny day was a great way to start our holiday. EV charging on site ensured stress free sightseeing every day. Richard was very friendly, informative and available should we have had any enquiries. The comprehensive guide book in the cottage and excellent communications before our arrival ensured we had a lovely stress free holiday (2 adults, 2 kids and 1 dog).

What a fabulous find in a beautiful location, immaculately presented with beautiful scenery and abundance of wildlife, even heard otters in the stream. Richard the host - excelled at making us all welcome including Duggie Superstar our jack russell, gave advice on where to get the best indian takeaway, and recommended Ad Gefrin distillery tour to visit - great afternoon sampling !!. Highly recommend and will be returning next year without hesitation. Alnwick close by also for the Harry Potter fans out there! EV charging also available.

It was more spacious than expected. Furniture, fittings, equipment etc were all excellent.

Location was super, never ending views, as we returned to the cottage one evening, a barn owl flew through, so lovely. The owners were lovely too, explained everything we needed to know, everything was easy to use even the dish washer, something I really need at home! So many places to visit in the area and the weather was wonderful too.

Location was perfect to explore Northumberland and wonderful walks from the door to the Breamish valley. Also getting a Running Fox Bakery soon to open opposite that does one of the best breakfasts in the UK I have had. Richard and Fiona were exceptionally thoughtful in the way they have created three wonderful cottages, and also as hosts during your stay. Brilliant recommendations and our dog Belker loved meeting Monty too.

The most wonderful place - we would absolutely recommend to everyone. The best hosts - they've made this such a brilliant trip for our little family and have really thought about everything. All of the cottages are stunning and extremely well equipped. There was such a lovely welcome basket when we arrived with local produce- very thoughtful. I kept feeling like we had found a special corner of heaven - it's so quiet with the only sounds being the birds singing, and despite having a small baby, we feel so relaxed from our visit. The surroundings are unbeatable - it really is so picturesque. Richard and Fiona have thought of so many special touches to make the visits extra lovely, and gave us some great recommendations for local places to visit. Also, the cottage was spotlessly clean. We instantly felt at home. We have never gone back to the same place twice but are already planning our next visit.
