The service was outstanding. The staff serving us both lunch and breakfast made the trip more enjoyable, being both friendly and prompt when taking our orders. We both agreed the lunch and breakfast were delicious, and there were lots of choices appealing to everybody. The room was clean, comfortable and the finishing touches (cookies and treats for our dog) were appreciated.

“Real luxury and comfort in beautiful surroundings”
The owners have thought of every luxury possible. Freshly made cookies in the room, great choice of current magazines in every room and public space. Fresh flowers at the tables, gorgeous decoration throughout. A lift from reception. Right in the centre of a beautiful town filled with pubs, restaurants and independent shops, not to mention the amazing castle. All the hotel staff were lovely, so friendly and welcoming. So good that we stayed an extra night. Had the lamb for evening meal which was delicious, also home made pancakes at breakfast, what a treat
