It was clean and functional with friendly staff. We had a twin room (bunk beds) on suite, all very standard, the shower was good. The communal kitchen had everything we needed and there were loads of lounge options with board games, ping-pong, pool and a piano. We were just about in time to leave our bags in the baggage room on arrival best to check what time the staff are leaving if you are planning on doing this. Alnwick itself was a good location with a wonderful castle, we went twice, you can convert your ticket to an annual pass for free. There's a useful if not frequent bus service and a Morrisons right in the centre of town.

“Good location, good price.”
Lovely quiet location with lots of information about the history of the building to read. It felt secure as you needed a key card to get in. Comfy seats in the lounge. Good shower. Free parking nearby.

Staff were really friendly and helpful. Location is excellent and at a great price. Originally booked one night and extended my visit. When I stayed it was a nice mix of guests of all ages. Solo, groups and families.
