Nice house very much as it appears on the photos. Great communication from the owner, who was very responsive to our questions and comments. Plenty of comfortable seating in the lounge and kitchen. Very comfortable mattresses on both double beds. Not too noisy overnight considering its position on the main road. Very handy indeed for the castle and all amenities including Morrisons.

The location is perfect. Local pubs. Mumbai Indian restaurant was lovely. Trips to Seahouses. Evening meal at The pub in Rennington.

Quirky and fun apartment in the middle of town. It was easy to get to, and easy to park on the street outside. The sitting room was light, airy and comfortable. There was everything we needed, and so much to look at! And lots of information about the area, as well as clear helpful instructions about accessing the property.

Really convenient location for visiting Alnwick Gardens and Castle. Room set up was perfect for three-generation family holiday plus plenty to entertain the whole family. Books, colouring and toy cars were very popular with our little one and the pool table with everyone! Decor great, comfy chairs and a well stocked kitchen. Really great place to stay.

We loved the quirky décor and the fabulous, central location. It was well equipped and had everything you could need for a longer stay (we had a short break). It's definitely somewhere we would like to return to.

A really lovely flat in the heart of town - wit friendly and helpful (not overpowering) hosts. The rooms were comfy and full of interest. The living room and kitchen areas gave a great social space, and the kitchen was fully equipped if you want to self-cater. Alnwick is a great base - handy for local walks and buses to get to nearby villages and the beautiful coast. As beer enthusiasts we found a number of excellent pubs/bars, and can recommend Ale Gate, Tanners and - for a really traditional vibe - the John Bull, all a few minutes from the flat. There are a huge range of eating options from Carlos' brilliant fish & chips to fine dining if you don't want to cook yourself.

The size of the accommodation was great for a family of 5. Large dining table, spacious living room and the pool table was a great addition, especially because it rained all weekend. The decor is quirk and interesting to look at. The location is good for walking around Alnwick and is 30mins from Seahouses and Bamburgh.

Lovely spacious flat, quirky interesting decore which we loved, well equipped and very homely plus pool table and games a great addition. Fantastic location lots of cafes restaurants literally on the door stop, did a bit of Xmas shopping in the gift shops, castle 5 mins walk, lovely wild unspoilt beaches nearby. So much better value than the hotels. Thanks for the chocolates too much appreciated after a very long drive from London.
