The stay at the hotel in Almora was very good. The staff provided all the necessary facilities properly. Bonfire arrangement, hot water, and morning bed tea were available, which made the stay comfortable. The room was clean and well-maintained. The view from the hotel was beautiful and the surroundings were peaceful. It’s a great place to stay if you’re visiting Jageshwar.

Zenoaks Farm Stay - A Hidden Gem in Binsar Nestled on a hill in the serene environs of Binsar near Almora, Zenoaks Farm Stay offers a magical retreat for nature lovers and those seeking a tranquil getaway. My week-long stay here was nothing short of extraordinary. Arrival and First Impressions We arrived late at night and were greeted by Manoj, the warm and ever-smiling host, who met us with a torch at the base of the hill. Accompanying him was Vishal, a young bellboy who effortlessly carried our luggage up the 300-meter climb while I struggled to catch my breath. The path, illuminated only by the torchlight, led to a magical sight: the farm stay glowing with string lights and a warm cup of hot chocolate awaiting us. The welcoming atmosphere, combined with the rustic kitchen area with its simple shed and cozy seating, set the tone for our stay. Accommodation We stayed in a charming cottage, a simple yet comfortable structure made of wood and mud. The room was spacious, well-insulated against the cold, and included two double cots, a single cot, and a firewood place. The highlight was the breathtaking view of the majestic Trishul and Nanda Parbat mountain ranges, visible right from the cottage. Cleanliness and ample bedding made it one of the coziest places I’ve stayed at. Food and Dining The dining experience was a standout. On our first night, Manoj—doubling as a chef due to his chef’s absence—whipped up a delicious meal in just 15 minutes. The menu offered delightful options like aloo parantha, aloo pyaaz parantha, and sandwiches, all prepared using fresh ingredients from the farm. The tea, made with farm-fresh milk and premium tea leaves, was heavenly. A conversation with Manoj about Kumaoni cuisine left me eager to try a traditional meal. Adding to the experience, I got to sample fresh fruits like apples, bananas, and kiwis straight from the farm.
