“Superb option in Almora.”
Generally a hostel-type setting this place also allows you to book rooms. We booked 2 rooms for one night @ ₹6000 (incl GST). The best thing about the property is its location. It is situated away from Almora city and is quite peaceful at night. The area is on the main highway and as such is safe from wild animals. We had a room on the top floor, and there were monkeys coming at times at night. You can visit Kasar Devi temple which is hardly 2kms from the property. The rooms are good. Clean, arranged, and with all the basic facilities. You also get free wi-fi. They also have two common areas. One for a bonfire and one for all the indoor activities. A good option to stay in Almora on a budget and all the tourist attractions are nearby which makes this one of the good options out there to stay. Totally recommended!

“Low expectations but still disappointed”
No confirmation after payment in the cafe. 24h is a myth, the staff will make your order when they look at the system. Order may come after 2h only. Strong smell of stale food in the common area.

My stay at Go Stop Kasar Devi has been really amazing and comforting. I stayed in the single room, and it was very aesthetic and clean. I stayed here for around 20 days and as a solo female traveller, I would like to give special appreciation to Saurabh the property manager for making me feel safe and comfortable. Whenever I reached out to him with any requests he was quick and efficient. The staff is supportive and maintains hygiene in the property. I would definitely recommend it.

Property was good neat and clean..... but being a hostel property, the arrangement of water in the room should be there. You can provide water bottles in the room. One have to go downstairs to take water. Else everything was good
