We arrived at the Homestay to be greeted with warm friendly smiles,a clean spacious room and a wonderful view. Our hosts Kanak and Anvrag were very welcoming and friendly. Kanak’s home cooked meals were delicious and reasonably priced. The Homestay is well situated away from the hussle and bustle of the centre but close enough for shopping. I.can highly recommend the Homestay for a traditional Indian experience.

Checkout info is listed until 11am on booking. Staff wakes me up at 8:30am telling I should check out by 9:30am... very bad experience. I came there to rest not to be disturbed. For 1100rupees expected more professionalism.

The peaceful ambience made it an ideal retreat from the stresses of everyday life. And the food—what a treat! Each meal was carefully cooked using fresh produce, many being plucked directly from their own garden. From breakfast through to dinner, each mouthful contained flavors reminiscent of home. Such authenticity and attention in food is hard to find these days. I had a truly delightful stay at this homestay in Almora. The housing was comfortable, clean, and had a peaceful charm that made me feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious , home-cooked with love , and every meal was a treat. What made the experience even more special was the owner, who was incredibly sweet, humble, and welcoming. Her warmth and hospitality added a personal touch to the stay. I genuinely loved my time here and would highly recommend this homestay to anyone visiting Almora.
