Overview
With views across to the River Severn, this hotel is located in the rural village of Almondsbury but within 2 minutes’ drive of the M4 and M5 motorways. Free private parking is available and Bristol city centre is just a 10-minute drive away. Bristol Airport can be reached after a 30-minute drive and Bath’s historic city centre is 35 minutes’ drive from The Swan. Rooms at The Swan Hotel are located in a separate annex and feature free WiFi, a flat-screen TV with Freeview channels and an en-suite bathroom. Tea/coffee making facilities and Egyptian cotton bed sheets are also provided. The award-winning gastropub serves food all day long, with dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. There is also ample space in the bar and on-site meeting room for a morning coffee and business meeting or catch-up. All areas of the bar, hotel and meeting room have access to free Wi-Fi. For guests wishing to leave before breakfast is served, a take-away breakfast pack can be provided. The traditional pub serves food all day long, with dishes made from locally sourced ingredients. There is also ample space in the bar and on-site meeting room for a morning coffee and business meeting or catch-up. All areas of the bar, hotel and meeting room have access to free Wi-Fi. “Basic cheap and easy to use. I would stay again if required”
Easy to get to off motorway. Plenty of parking. Cheap. Swan pub next door looks like a good pub. No hassle check in and out. Has a tv. Well worth £65. Perfect if you’re on the road and need a one night stop off.

The staff were so helpful because there was a mix up with the booking (my fault) and they were great. Nice pub food. Then staff were extra helpful when I thought I had left my wash bag in bathroom (turned out I hadn’t) So they put up with my inefficiency very well!!!

My experience at The Swan was excellent from start to finish. The room was Great —clean, spacious, and very comfortable. Food was Great ! What really stood out, though, was the staff. Every member of the team was welcoming, supportive, and genuinely eager to help. I needed to extend my stay unexpectedly, and they handled it with patience and understanding, making the whole process smooth and stress‑free. I couldn’t have asked for better service. I’d happily stay again. 😁

“Won't go there again!”
Dreadfully dirty, full of cobwebs. Toilet and sink stained.outside annex. Bedroom nothing like the photo's on the listing . Highchairs etc obstructed the door into the room. Front entrance door had no handle. Bar area had dirty windows and cobwebs.

Location was great for what i was foing in bristolwaa a bitnsuprised that breakfast was in the pub next door but it was overall a nice experience. Food was okay to good too

Friendly staff. Had two meals at the hotel, both very good. I was able to charge my electric car as the hotel provided charging facilities' (a big +).

There was a complication with the booking but the staff were very kind and understanding. The rooms are basic but comfortable and clean. Good pub food and friendly service.
