“A perfect family getaway combining relaxation, nature, and great hospitality.”

We had a fantastic stay at Corvatos Casas do Monte – a 10/10 for our family. We travelled from Ireland with our two boys, and it was perfect for all of us. The setting is peaceful and safe, with loads of space to explore. The farm animals were a big highlight – so calm and well looked after. We loved walking around, kayaking, and cycling, which was a great way to enjoy the surroundings. Almodôvar is just 10 minutes away and is a lovely small town with handy shops and a great local feel. Definitely try the local food while you’re there – it was excellent. A special thanks to Pedro, who was an amazing host and made our stay even better. We made brilliant family memories here and would highly recommend it, especially for families.

Corvatos casas do monte has been in my list for more than a year. When finally arrived here, it still surprised everyone in the family. Pedro was super nice. He hung up the hammock for us and showed us around. We were so happy that our dog Muffin can run around. He could follow our daughters everywhere and even stayed beside the pool. Also met some other families with dogs. I bet everyone love this pet friendly place! We checked Ms.Donkey and Ms.Horse several times a day. My girls grabbed carrots and munched together with them. My younger daughter fulfilled her dream of being a shepherd with his cavalier king charles shepherd. But the sheep mistook them for a pack of wolves. This place is a gem in Alentejo. We did a bit of light hiking and cycling . Pool time and canoe were also highlights. The owner let my girls ride their horse too. Only thing you need to worry is to see if you can stay longer. Every window view is a different oil painting. The bed and everything is clean and nice. Kitchen well equipped. 10 minutes drive to super market. We definitely wanna come back to spend another amazing holiday.

We were here for 7 days. Views through picture windows were brilliant, because we saw lots of birds - including Hoopoe. Comfortable bed and lovely linen. Great surroundings being the lake (turtles and fish), swimming pool and gardens. Had a swim in November! Great to see Mr D (donkey).

We loved our short stay! Pedro was the most amazing host - he let us arrive earlier and stay until afternoon on our last day which we appreciated immensely as there was just no rush at all. The property is beautiful, so peaceful and with a nice pool for a dip. Our highlight was feeding and petting the donkey and horse - they were super friendly! Highly recommended for anyone who is looking for a quiet and relaxing getaway.

From the weighted draft-excluders, to the welcoming drinks every detail of the property was superb. The facilities are modern and functional and the decor tastefully reflects the rural location. There are plenty of fun activities too.

Beautiful setting and peaceful surroundings! Extremely clean and pretty. Perfect for a romantic stay and to have peaceful time to switch off. Pedro was on hand all the time to help us with anything. He is an excellent host who wanted to make sure our stay was comfortable! And was on hand to help whenever we needed anything.

“Holidays with kids”

Perfect place for holiday with kids. The "monte" is larger than what l was expecting, with plenty of space for the children to go around, explore, play. Despite being large is all fenced so we felt safe in having the kids going around in their own. The house is great and Pedro (the host) has been very kind and always making sure that was all good with our stay. We appreciated as well the delivery of freshly picked eggs and tomatos

We had an absolutely perfect stay at this holiday apartment! From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed warmly by Pedro, our amazing host. He was super helpful and incredibly nice, ensuring that we had everything we needed to enjoy our time there. The apartment itself was fantastic. It offered a breathtaking view that we couldn’t get enough of, making it a peaceful retreat like no other. The place was spotlessly clean and equipped with all the utilities we could possibly need, which made our stay comfortable and convenient. One of the highlights was the great BBQ setup, which allowed us to enjoy some delicious meals while soaking in the natural beauty around us. Speaking of nature, the surroundings were stunning and provided the perfect backdrop for relaxing and unwinding. We also loved the swimming experience; it was refreshing and just added to the overall joy of our holiday. Everything was top-notch, from the accommodations to the ambiance. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay, and we can’t wait to return! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a perfect getaway.

If you're looking for a quiet place to relax and escape from the hectic routine, this is the perfect spot. I must confess that the place exceeded all our expectations. Besides being beautiful and peaceful, it's a great place for any family with children who want to be close to nature. The houses have been restored and are gorgeous! There's a tree-house that fascinates both adults and children! A huge thank you to Pedro for his friendliness and kindness towards us.

Amazing facilities with great attention to details. Beautiful natural surroundings. We had wonderful time, wish we could have stayed for longer.
