Ricardo gave us - without being asked - an upgrade to a stunning, just renovated, room. The whole place is a beautiful combination of old and modern design. Breakfast was delicious. .

The location was excellent for us. The room was warm, comfortable and very quiet. The staff were so helpful and friendly that we felt like they were friends. It was very relaxed at breakfast. The only thing missing was cold milk for my husband’s tea.

Great location, lovely room and lovely shared kitchen facility. I hope that the shower walls will be tiled rather than just bare plaster. Fantastic breakfast spread - we would certainly be back!

Very welcoming staff, the director helped us check in and advised a wonderful place for dinner (really had the best cheeks in my life). The rooms and premises are very nicely designed. Breakfast is not very varied, but there’s everything not to stay hungry and the products are of a good quality. Very central location (the town is small, but anyway). There’s a parking space dedicated to the place, if you’re lucky enough, you will park right in front of the door.

This casa is off the beaten path, but well maintained and well run. The place is trendy and clean, staff friendly and welcoming, breakfast nice with plenty of choice. Great value and stay.

“Beautifully renovated house right in the centre of town.”

Very centrally located right next to the church (with a view from our room of the storks nesting on the church tower). Greeted by the friendly owner who had saved us a parking space right outside the hotel. Charming historical building, nice room. Very peaceful. Good breakfast. We would definitely stay here again.

Casa de Igrejja is an absolutely charming guest house, located in an ancient building in the centre of the little town. It is beautiful, comfortable, clean.

Very clean and modern inside and well positioned in the centre of the town. Very good value for money and with a good continental breakfast. Our room was generally comfortable. Ricardo was very helpful.

This is a fantastic find. The staff are super. The Breakfast is excellent. The building itself has been renovated to a super level. Everything is to an extremely high standard. Excellent experience in every way. Highly recommend.

We were communicating with the host/staff before our arrival and they kept us updated about arrival time, check in, etc. This clearly showed us that we weren't being treated as simply another guest, there was this attention to making sure we were welcome. The room was quite nice, very clean and incorporating really well a "rustic" look. The common areas were also very beautiful and welcoming. Location was perfect for us.
