Great location, only 10 mins walk to beach, shops and restaurants, step walk up a hill from the village but didn't cause us a problem and cheap local taxis available if you needed them. Beautiful villa, great views and a wonderful pool area.

“Exceptional villa with private pool in a great location with lovely views”

The owner met us at the property to show us around and gave his number for if we had any problems. The villa has it's own pool with plenty of sun loungers. There were parasols and trees for shade it you wanted it. The kitchen was fully equipped so you could cook for your self if you wanted to. The bathrooms was all very clean and modern with endless hot water and good water pressure. New A/C had recently been install which was really quiet so fine to leave it in over night. The whole villa was spotlessly clean. The location of the villa is elevated so you can make the most of the views and sunsets from the huge roof terrace. There are other terraces around the villa to take in the peaceful countryside. It's a short walk into Almyrida where there are plenty of bars and restaurants offering all types of food. There are 3/4 mini markets in the village providing a good range of food and drinks. Gluten free wasn't a problem in the restaurants and supermarkets.

We are very privilege to travel regularly. This time we were out as a group of 13 for the wedding of one of our friends and we got to hire both villas as a large group of 5 couple and 3 individuals. Both properties exceeded expectations, they were a lot better than what we were expecting, very spacious for an enjoyable stay with all necessities available. Staff have been fantastic, attending any need we have had throughout and have also been extremely accommodating with an early check in and a late check out! The pool is a very good size, with very comfortable sun loungers and the table tennis is a very nice addition for groups! Couldn’t recommend them more.

“Brilliant Villa, excellent location and fantastic hosts”

The location is fantastic overlooking Souda Bay and the town. The rooms are spacious and the beds are comfortable. The garden is pretty sizeable, the pools is cleverly located so that it gets good sunshine while being secluded and has a great size and depth. The maid service is good and very friendly. The kitchen is well equipped and the AC works perfectly and is modern and quiet. They had recently updated both bathrooms and they are certainly very nice now. Overall it's a great choice for the area which has more tavernas and restaurants than you could ever need and a few good shops. The parking is good and you could easily park 3 or 4 cars here. Overall a solid 10/10

“Excellent Villa and superb location”

Lovely Villa, very clean and well equipped. Superb location with beach and restaurants an easy 10 minute walk and fabulous views from the top terrace. Pool was a good size and very private.

George was an excellent host. He met us at the villa in the beginning of our stay and answered all of our questions. He is totally uncomplicated and there, when you need him. Cleaning of the villa (incl. change of towels and bedsheets) is included. Tatjana, the cleaning lady, is a real treasure. She brought us cake on her birthday. The inside of the villa and the kitchen equipment are average. View of the upper terrace facing the olive tree gardens and the sea is breathtaking. The outside areas of the villa and the pool are well maintained and a real plus. The villa is situated in a calm neighborhood. Bakery and supermarket as well as restaurants are close (2 mins by car/10 mins walk downhill). Lovely villages are not far away and easily reachable by car.

We stayed at the Villa Ifiginia and the property is simply gorgeous! We were 3 adults and 2 teenagers and we all had plenty of room. The property has wonderful views of the olive groves and the bay beyond. The sunsets were incredible.. The rooms were sparkling clean thanks to the lovely Tatiana who came in 3 times to clean up after my messy teenagers. George, checked on us a couple of times during the stay to see if we needed anything or any local tips. he also provided some breakfast items, wine and fruit free of charge as we arrived at the villa very late. Finding and accessing the property was very easy. The pool is wonderful, especially as it was so hot. We had a fabulous stay and have come home feeling refreshed and relaxed. There is a short walk down the hill to all amenities, the walk up is steep but great for working off a few calories after dinner. Or else it's very easy to get into a cab, as there is a taxi place just on the main street. All the restauraunts are situated on the bay so whichever one you choose you have a sea view.
