“Perfect place to stay in Almyrida”

I loved staying here recently. The hosts were lovely and very helpful. The studio was clean and spacious and my balcony had a lovely view of the sea. I would definately recommend staying here it was a great pleasire and i enjoyed myself thank yiu

We had a wonderful stay at Meandros! The hosts were extremely welcoming and kind — they even called to check if I was okay because I had a flight delay. The place was very clean and cozy, with a lovely balcony and a beautiful sea view. It’s just a 3-minute walk to the beach. They even gave us a small gift — a cup, which was a very nice gesture. The area was peaceful, not noisy at all, and there was no smell of cigarettes inside, which I really appreciate. We were very happy with our stay! 🌸✨

Typical, simple Greek accommodation. No frills but everything needed for a week’s stay. Lovely hosts, clean with regular towel changes, superb sea view from large balcony, great shower and excellent central location.

I stayed for 3 nights in Meandros Apartments and I liked everything about it. Spacious room, enough facilities, good towels and sheets, great view to the sea and the mountains, quiet and 1 min away from the beach. What I liked the most was the friendliness of the owner, Anna. She made everything very uncomplicated, made sure I have water and juice when I arrived, always checked if I’m feeling good or if I need anything and even gave me a nice gift when I left. I stayed for another 3 nights somewhere near her place, and she saluted me everyday when I passed by, which made me feel like a local and a friend. I truly recommend this place and I hope I will come again. Btw. the village and the beach are great too. Thank you Anna! 🩵

Lovely holiday let next to the beach,sea views great host, ideal for almyrida beach we come back for few days every time.lots of very good restaurants close by and the sandy beach is perfect,we particularly enjoyed the balcony with the view and the activity on the street and the lovely breeze

The location is simply fabulous. The staff are amazing . For simple, affordable accommodation, right by the sea, you can't go wrong

Meandros is in a wonderful location . The owners were there to welcome us even though it was late evening. They were so kind and helpful. I explained that I had some back problems and would appreciate some extra padding for the bed . Anna quickly went and found a blanket and a throw . I had also messaged to ask if there was a toaster at the studio , Anna had done no more than to go out and buy a new one ! Every day we would come back to find , bins emptied, washing up done , every other day clean sheets & towels . Anna made us Greek patties and left us a jar of honey . Such kindness 😘

I had the best views of Almyrida, seconds from the beach, easy street parking for my car and an awesome outdoor balcony to enjoy the area from. The hostess Anna was very welcoming and attentive. She made sure I had everything I needed and kept the place spotless. Will definitely come back 😊😊😊

We loved our apartment here and the hosts were exceptionally friendly, helpful and polite. They helped us out with anything that we needed and had prepared some small breakfast items and water for us upon arrival. The views from the apartment were lovely. The terrace came in handy for watching the Cretan sunset. The apartment was clean, and we were provided with new towels and toiletries during our 7 day stay. Would love to visit again. Thank you Giannis and family for your ten-star hospitality and kindness. Highly recommend!

“Cretan hospitality at its best!”

This accommodation was the reason we opted for Almyrida and not for Kalyves. We came for the open sea view from the balcony and more than the reasonable price for 11 nights. However, we were welcomed like family. Yes, the studio is cleaned regularly and the internet worked great, too. What we carry as the best memory from the time spent at Meandros, though, is how the hosts went out of there way to make us feel like at home. The amazing family that runs this place redefines the Cretan hospitality we thought we had met with before. Completely surpassed our expectations on so many levels. Thank you so much family Giannetakis! p.s. About additional activities in the area that don't involve a car: We saw a lot of people running and cycling up the streets/roads so we took on walking routes in the mornings. We were always greeted by at least one "Good morning" or "Kalimera" which felt like walking down your own neighborhood. Except that neighborhood had olive grows :) There's a photo from one of our walks attached as well!
