Raúl is one of the most kind hosts we ever had. He takes his time on giving you advice on the best local places and focuses on fresh and healthy products at breakfast. Besides that, the room was just perfect. The room is very clean and large, quiet and effective air conditioning, and also the bed is very large. Also the swimming pool is such nice place to relax. We wished we would have booked here for a longer time!

Our host Raul gave us a delightful continental breakfast. He varied the menu daily with homemade and locally sourced artisan products. Our breakfast was served outside on the lovely scenic terrace. Our bed room was spotless, and the bed very large and comfortable. The hotel is without doubt to a high standard with the amazing artworks and rustic artefacts which all added to the charm of our visit. A definite romantic get away, or just to relax and enjoy the food , swim in the pool ,while later only a short walk to the restaurants .We would recommended Sabores a Andalucia which is in the village if eating out. A gem of a restaurant. However an evening meal can be booked and the dining room is excellent at La Era.

Everything about our stay at Hospederia la Era was exceptional, from the beautiful property decorated with Raul’s personal artefacts from his agricultural family, to Raul’s precision and kindness with planning our stay and the delicious breakfast and evening meal. The room was spacious and luxurious. A wonderful and fascinating (and beautiful) region to explore. Seems a shame to recommend this place so highly because we want to keep it for ourselves!!

The hotel was so good that I canceled the whole day plan and just stayed there. Really beautiful place with plenty of places to enjoy. A nice Hospederia, set in a lovely town that is well worth wandering around at length. Very friendly owners, who put a lot of effort into your stay. A very impressive entrance hall and stairway, nicely lit in the evening with candles and lanterns. A comfortable room and a good breakfast included, with a very nice pool area too. Recommended.

this is is a fine house, beautifully and tastefully restored, that sits handsomely, centrally, but just above the village. The rooms are immaculate, quiet and furnished to a very high standard. The swimming pool is really lovely, well presented and privately situated to the back of the house. It was also great to see the productive and lovingly tendered vegetable garden . Davinia and Raul are just the most perfect and accomplished hosts.
