Marc has hospitality in his veins - he is welcoming, friendly, attentive, and gives you the best tips ever to make your stay as pleasant as possible. His English as well as Spanish are perfect. The surrounding area is calm, the nearby towns offer plenty of restaurants, cafe's, spa's, grocery shops and so forth. The room itself was really comfy, the bathroom as well as the balcony nice and spacious. Totally recommended if you want to truly discover Andalusia!

An interesting mix of rustic and elegant. Very kind host!!! A rich and diverse breakfast. A quiet location, with lots of greenery, with a beautiful terrace, swing, swimming pool. We would definitely come back with great pleasure.

Quiet and off the beaten track which was perfect in between hectic city breaks. Marc and I had some great conversations about life and work and I thoroughly enjoyed his company. The local castle made a great afternoon out just up the road.

Wow, what a find! The photos in the description don't do the place justice – it's a great, cozy little house with a lot of attention to detail. It really is a home, located in a beautiful countryside, very peaceful and quiet. And we were fortunate to spend a night there. The owner is amazing – friendly, helpful, hospitable, willing to share his knowledge of the local region. And it was great to be able to simply speak English, without attempting to communicate in Spanish via Google translate, as we had to do in most other stops along our way :) The breakfast was very nice with traditional spanish toasts, crushed tomatoes and olive oil, as well as some cereal, muesloi, cheese & ham, muffins etc. And the breakfast room is beautiful, just like the rest of the house! Our only regret is that we could stay here for only one night.

Marc was a fabulous welcoming host who offered many ideas to see the best of the province. We needed the break, and the gorgeous view from the deck was the place to chat and relax. A 200 year old restored cottage with many quirky features in the village of Las Rios near the larger town of Almedinilla . Generous with breakfast, coffees, and conversation. Good room sizes with a strong shower and wifi.

What a diamond of a place,the rooms are ample in size, really clean,the bed was so comfortable I didn't want to get up in the morning but really glad, I did had a fantastic continental breakfast,on a great terrace,food was plentiful and fresh and tasty,there was no need for lunch afterwards,the host Mark was born to do this role,warm and welcoming and a wealth of knowledge about the local area and further a field,over all a brilliant stay,very well priced and I can't wait to return,thanks for a lovely stay Mark see you in the new year.

Mark is a super host! We liked to talk to him and he gave us good advices regarding the surroundings. The house itself very atmospheric with it's own sharm and style, you will feel it from the 1st moment. It's located in a mountain village and is surrounded with a small groomed garden. The breakfast was delicious with coffee, fresh toasts, orange juice, jam, cheese, jamon, oats, so everything you can imagine for a great breakfast. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, many thanks!
