“Value for Money room!”
A private room in a 2 bedroom attached apartment.. it had a kitchen, eating area and a shared bathroom. My room was small but very clean and comfortable and Irena was a lovely and friendly woman. A great stay.

“It is a home with hostel price.”
It is located in a neighborhood around 30 minutes bus ride from the center. It is basically a home with spacious courtyard,common room and balcony.The kitchen and toilets/bathrooms are clean and dry almost all the time. What is bonus they offer free laundry on the property. The lady,Dana who checked in was polite and friendly. Definitely worth the value of money.

“Lovely hostel”
Really nice hostel. I had a private room and it was comfortable and clean. A well equipped kitchen for guests, and a nice outdoor area. The staff Irina and Dana were also very nice and helpful. Although a little far from the city centre there were plenty of buses available to get there.

“One of the best hostels I have ever stayed”
Irina, she's the best plus she speaks really good Spanish, she even recommended me and contacted me with a tattoo artist. She's wonderful!!! The hostel is really clean and comfortable

Everything about the hostel itself was great. Friendly Staff. Beds have curtains and are very comfy. Good shower and toilet facilities, and an incredible amount of free things on offer (tea etc) in the shared kitchen with good equipment. Price was better than fair

“Recommended”
Exceptional, met some of the best people here. Very less crowded, very clean and well equipped hostel with all the facilities. Walking distance from bus stop, you can take bus and reach anywhere in the city easily.

“Worth it”

Great hostel! Had everything you needed and super clean. Location not that central, but luckily taxis (on YandexGo) are really cheap to get around, and there is a nice local restaurant you can go to for dinner if you don't want to travel into the city centre.

“Highly recommended for a base in Almaty”
Very good value for money. Bus journey into town roughly 30 mins costing 200 (if you can find an ONAY card it will cost 80 but I couldn’t find one anywhere) bus drivers didn’t ask for fare - you just have to pay them - this can be difficult when the bus is crowded (so I rode for free a lot!) Bus to lake Almaty is straightforward. Bus to presidents park, then the no 28 to the national park - then 1000 taxi ride to start of trail. Google maps doesn’t work for transport. Yandex works but for taxi booking and 3gis you will need Kazakhstan number. The girls who run the hostel are very helpful at translating Russian for you. Restaurants and supermarkets within 1/2 hour walking. Off main road so quiet. Kitchen facilities are good. Laundry facilities.

“Worth its price”
The staff (2 receptionist ladies) was really helpful and kind. The place was quite clean and the beds were comfortable to sleep in. It was nice that they had detergents to wash your clothes. Also the kitchen is nice, they have free coffee and tea. You can also cook there comfortably.

Ideal if you want a quiet hostel out of the city centre. Friendly staff and cat. Supermarket, bus stop, good restaurant are all nearby. My 2nd visit, I will stay here again next time I'm in Almaty.
