Love the stay! Has decent privacy because you have your own mini bedroom and they are plenty of storage space under the bed and even has an extra locker if you need extra storage. The toilet is clean and it also has washing machine as well.

Great location and choice for solo travellers

The whole place was always clean at all times, they even had a sauna in the bathrooms, amazing. You can also clean your clothes free of charge. They serve good tasting breakfast as well

“Superb stay!”

I was torn between choosing an Airbnb or AQ miniSuites. I’m so happy I chose AQ! I had a great 7 nights stay! The room is small as expected but it’s cozy and comfortable. I super like the fact that each guest can enjoy privacy in their room and can choose to enjoy the company of other guests in the common areas. It’s good to see various people of different nationalities. Good options for breakfast, which is served from 8am to 12pm. There are only 2 shower and 2 toilets for women but it didn’t feel crowded (only 1 time in my entire stay that I had to wait a bit to use the toilet). WIFI is excellent. I also like that each room comes with a locker. Another thing I appreciate very much is the laundry facility (I packed light and had only a few clothes; being able to wash & dry my clothes was a big help). Strategic location – easy to book Yandex and nearest metro (Zhibek Zholy) is just a short walk from AQ. Lots of restaurants and couple of CU convenience stores nearby. The nearest café is Tary, open 24/7). Superb stay overall! Highly recommended to solo travelers! And even friends who’d like to stay in one accommodation but want to have separate rooms.

“Good and bad”

Stylish and colourful hostel, located a short walk from the Green Bazaar, Ascension Cathedral and Arasan Baths, and easy Yandex ride from other sites like the State Museum. On arrival you’re asked by signs to put protective covers over your shoes, and when you check-in you’re given a set of slippers to wear during your stay, with each “suite” number having its own cubby hole to leave shoes by the entrance (although nobody seemed to care which you used). There is a large kitchen area with huge table, chairs, and free tea and coffee - the daily breakfast is served here and you can choose from a menu, the options are simple but lovely. The Wi-Fi is excellent (and needs to be, as the hostel is in a basement so no phone signal!), and the bathrooms are large and reasonably spacious. Each “suite” is assigned a large locker in the corridor and there is a common area by the reception desk with space for digital nomads to work, iron clothes, or hang out on bean bags and relax.

It's amazing place where in lower price you can have privacy during your travel. Low price I mean - this standard, help, hospitality and location should be more expensive because it is amazing. I was supposed to spend there 2 nights, and I booked a few days between my tours around Almaty, to come back there. I left also my luggage there to travel lightly. All stuff is very nice and helpful. Totally recoment that place.

Only stayed one night, staff spoke English and were helpfull.Capsule was a good size, shared WC and Toliets clean, you could use washer and dryers free which was really helpfull, Central location
