A beautiful gem of a place located in the stunning countryside outside Sintra. The bed was so comfortable. The room was beautiful and the decor very quirky, which we loved. The staff were so incredibly helpful and pleasant to deal with. The spa is gorgeous. Had a divine massage. Food was beautiful and included fresh veg picked from the garden. The gardens are gorgeous for a stroll and the pool area is relaxing. Loved every moment

The place is very cozy, i love the fairytale style. Super calm, beautiful nature, comfortable bath. Hot water, air conditioner, tasty breakfast. The staff is very friendly. Gym and sauna very good.

The room was extremely comfortable and very well designed. The heating was more than sufficient to keep the room warm and cozy even during cold weather. The staff were friendly and attentive. Cleanliness was top-notch, and all facilities were well maintained.

Fantastic guesthouse 25min drive from the airport on the quiet outskirts of Lisbon. Very comfortable room with aircon/heating, much needed end of November. Luxurious private bathroom, parking on the premises, superb breakfast. What more is there to say? I arrived just before closing time of reception at 8pm but the manager, a very nice lady she let me use the sauna for another half hour, turned it on again, and I could unwind after a long drive from Évora. So much appreciated! And all the staff were just as friendly. Next time in Lisbon I will surely come back here. I can really recommend this place.

We booked this accommodation through Booking.com, where it was advertised as a 4-star hotel. The actual condition and level of service absolutely do not correspond to the stated class. Our stay was extremely disappointing and ruined our vacation. 1. Check-in and Access Issues • Arrival: We arrived late in the evening. The area was dark and the main gate was locked. We had to independently search for a contact phone number to call. • Check-in Procedure: Instead of an in-person check-in, we were instructed to self-check-in via a video call. We were "guided" to our room remotely. • Room Condition Upon Arrival: The keys were left in the door. The windows and door of the room were left open, which raises serious security concerns. 2. Room Condition and Unsanitary Environment • Room Access: The doorway was extremely low and narrow. We had to bend down to enter, and we struggled to fit our luggage through the door. • Mould and Filth: The room was in a state of extreme unsanitary conditions. • Mould was observed everywhere: on the curtains, around the windows, and, most alarmingly, on the pillows. • The room was full of cobwebs, indicating a severe lack of cleaning. • There was a strong, unpleasant smell of dampness and mould. • Bedding: The bedding contained hair and some type of insects. 3. Malfunctions and Lack of Amenities • Missing Advertised Amenities: The room lacked basic items expected in any hotel, let alone a 4-star one: a refrigerator, a kettle, and a television. • Heating: The heater operated extremely loudly, making a strong "growling" noise with only minimal pauses throughout the night, which made it impossible to sleep. • Electrics: An electrical outlet in the room was broken/faulty. Conclusion: This property does not meet minimum standards for cleanliness, safety, or comfort. The claimed 4 stars are a complete falsehood. Staying here was the worst experience we have ever had and completely ruined our vacation.

Staff were excellent very friendly. gardens & breakfast was very good . Unfortunately we didn’t have time to use the spa facilities but they looked very nice. Very quaint place.

“Amazing experience staying at this property”

I had an amazing experience staying at this property. The room was clean, comfortable, and exactly as described—spacious, well-maintained, and in a great location. Everything from check-in to check-out was smooth and stress-free. What really made the difference, though, was the guy at the reception (unfortunately, I didn’t catch his name). He was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and professional—always ready to help with a smile. Whether it was recommending places to eat, helping with directions, or just making us feel at home, he went above and beyond. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality, and it made our stay extra special. I’d absolutely come back and highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the area.

Fabulous staff nothing too much trouble and incredibly accommodating. The spa was great and the grounds are spectacular. The pool is superb and the location very serene and peaceful. It was utterly relaxing and we loved it
