Hotel Maestrazgo de Calatrava is set in the historic town of Almagro, 20km from Ciudad Real. It offers modern rooms, with LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi access. “A little gem in central Spain.”
We were transferred to the Retiro del Maestre and loved it! A beautiful, clean and very comfortable hotel with lots of bedroom space. Very quiet and the location was perfect. Just a short walk into the town centre. Super helpful staff.

“Started bad but quickly improved as substitute hotel looked better than designated hotel.”
This hotel was closed for decoration and therefore diverted to Retiro de la Maestre.

the thing is: we were changed to another hotel in the group Retiro del Maestre due to alterations in the Maestrazgo. we were looked after very well in the Retiro in a lovely room and very nice, informative Staff. The breakfast and parking made it a lovely stay.
