We turned up on a very hot day and walked in and the air-conditioning had been turned on for us, which was a relief. It was Christmas time and the house had been decorated with lights and a tree.

Mirrabooka was a lovely old house with lots of character and a big garden. The house was beautifully presented and very clean when we arrived, with a much appreciated hamper of goods provided for us. Each of the four bedrooms we used had its own bathroom, and the kitchen had everything we needed. Allora is a delightful small town, conveniently located between Toowoomba and Warwick. It has lots of facilities, including a range of shops and a couple of pubs and cafés. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and wished we were staying longer.

Allots the town is one of the most attractive I have seen in Queensland, but you do probably need a reason to visit as its small and out of the way. The house was excellent it had everything and more for a stay.

It was spacious enough for our family of 6 and loved that it was pet friendly. Our 4 teenagers enjoyed our family time together but also that they had their own bedroom and space to relax. The outdoor area was an extra bonus for entertaining family.

The house is amazing. A truly magnificent country house. The kitchen served us well. I had a group of 7 that was meant to be 10. The master bedroom was massive and there were several ensuites. The host allowed us to take our time leaving which was so wonderful.
