“Magical stay with brilliant hosts”

We had the most magical stay. The cottage was truly beautiful and the scenery was stunning. The hosts went above and beyond to cater for our family and even bought our little boy a present for his first ever Christmas. Honestly just go and stay at the cottage you won’t be disappointed !

This is a lovely cottage, and it has everything you need for a perfect getaway. It's quiet right near the sea, and I love the fireplace for a cosy evening. Will be my first choice when heading that way again. Perfect cottage

Vera and her son are lovely and very accommodating. The property is in a lovely location and is very thoughtfully kitted out with everything that you may need. This is our 4th stay here and we'll be back next year. We decorated a stone last time we were here and it was lovely to see that it is still here. Would highly recommend 👌

Very welcoming cosy cottage very well equipped. Great location for the beach and the dogs. Host Vera very welcoming and great chat. Our first stay, will be returning Nov/Dec this year. Highly recommended.

Lots of helpful things in house for us to use - cling film, dog crate etc Although we went in may 1 day was bitterly cold - log burner soon warmed us up

Not far from the beach . The wood burner was good and kept the property warm as no central heating, only electrical . The owner’s son was very polite

“Peaceful coastal retreat”

Really enjoyed our stay, very well appointed, well equipped kitchen,including coffee pod machine with pods supplied, Comfortable beds and lovely bathroom. Welcomed on arrival by host who gave directions to local amenities and recommendations . A great base to explore this coastal region.we would definitely recommend the wildlife park at Bassenthwaite. Unfortunately we had to put up with two days of heavy rain,but used these days to visit local towns,Whitehaven and Cockermouth. Amazing beach 150 yards from accommodation. Local village A short walk along coastal path. Well worth a visit.So peaceful.

Such a warm welcome to a very cosy cottage which is part of quite extensive farm buildings. Some lovely touches and extras, including an air fryer, a coffee machine and a great woodburner.
