“Cosy seaside cottage a real treat”

Lovely cottage with great location next to the beach and coastal path. Great communication from the hosts Mike & Keith. Lovely touches like sweets and treats for the dog. Views from the attic room over the beach and Southern Scotland.

The cottage was quirky had downstairs kitchen had everything we needed even with our dog nice touch for dog bags etc treat squash for us living room treats we had on table was nice touch WiFi great sofa comfortable.first upstairs bedroom perfect blinds block sun out.even had own bathroom.next floor had wooden steps was ok had work out how to walk up carefully only time see sea view was from attic bedroom window which not sea view cottage but did have own shower and toilet which was great sea was just across road.the beds was too comfortable we didn't want to leave the bed .I would happily stay at this cottage again thank you.

Great location and lovely little cottage.

A lovely little cottage by the sea..Very comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you might possibly need, bathroom was spotless and the beds were little clouds of heaven! The property is situated minutes from the beach and there is a pub and shop in walking distance. The hosts were fantastic, so helpful and really accommodating I would highly recommend this property!!

The property was very nicely furnished and comfortable, it had everything you needed for a great holiday, it was a stones throw to the beautiful beach too. The owners kept in touch throughout our stay which was lovely.

Lovely village location with quick beach access for morning walks and the lake district on the door step. Cottage was cosy. Shame there was no sea view.

We have spent 4 nights in the Criffel cottage on a family holidays. The location is fabulous, close to Lake district, local walks and right next to the beach. We also enjoyed the quirky layout of the property which has absolutely everything you might need during your short break. Owners are friendly, helpful and communication with them was polite.

Location was great for dogs the locals were friendly and welcoming. Cottage had everything needed and more and was very cosy and comfortable. The dog station was a lovely touch by the hosts. The beds were so comfortable.

It was warm and comfortable, right by the beach which our dog loved. It was easy walking distance to the Ship Inn, a very dog friendly pub with excellent roast dinners.

The location is great, the beach & sea are behind the cottage. The cottage decor with all the art & nik naks were homely. Good amount of space. Vast kitchen comfy bed. The view & seeing the sunset, outstanding. Easy to find.
