Overview
Located in Alloa, within 38 km of Lake of Menteith and 43 km of Hopetoun House, Devon River Glamping Pods provides accommodation with a garden as well as free private parking for guests who drive. Housed in a building dating from 2023, this campground is 47 km from the Scone Palace. The campground features family rooms. All units comprise a seating area with a sofa, a dining area, and a fully equipped kitchenette with various cooking facilities, including a microwave, a toaster, a fridge and kitchenware. Some units include a terrace and/or a patio with mountain or garden views. The units have a private bathroom, a hair dryer and bed linen. It was the first time we went glamping and we were pleasantly surprised. Peace and quiet, the sound of the rain at night, the morning mist and fresh air,, it was beautiful!

“Fabulous comfy clean pod, night recommended. 5 stars!”
Fabulous wee pod, spotlessly clean, super comfy bed, decor was fab & loved the rustic wooden balcony furniture, such a lovely spot with views across the horses field. I even booked on a 2 hour reservoir hack which was fabulous.

Many thoughtful touches, like fire lighters for the fire pit as well as some Scottish treats, and fairy lights on the porch. The Pod was really well laid out, making great use of the space, and the location is gorgeous. The duvet and pillows were very comfortable.

“A compact cabin surrounded by horses”
The pod is rather compact yet it has all what you need, the communication with the manager was excellent and we enjoyed staying next to a field full of horses - all very calming

“Last minute overnight stay”
The pod was perfect. It was well stocked with the essentials , the grounds are absolutely beautiful, peaceful surroundings, and lovely to sit outside on the deck with the fire pit lit watching the horses, even the dogs on the grounds are so friendly and would come up to the pod. There is also a pub within walking distance if you want to venture out for food or even a drink.
