“Perfect stay!”
We loved everything, the lodge had everything we needed, it was clean, comfortable and relaxing. The views were breathtaking, the hot tub was amazing and loved all the flora and fauna! The host was absolutely lovely as well. We’re looking to book again later this year as already miss it!

Stunning location. Beautiful scenery. Everything needed was available. Very kind welcome of local cheese and cider, which was much appreciated. Shower was lovely, really nice. Lights leading to the hot tub made it safe and pretty. A gorgeous retreat: the stuff of dreams.

“Countryside views with a hot tub and secluded privacy along with an excellent hostess.”
The host was a lovely woman who met us at the chalet fairly late in the evening. She took us round the whole place and showed us everything. They also included a what3words for the location which allowed us to find this secluded booking when otherwise we may have found it much more difficult, as in this rural location the postcode is not very specific!

Much thought had been put into making the lodge feel homely and welcoming, and combined with the views and the hot tub all is so relaxing and enjoyable. The host is charming and the complimentary very local cider and cheese was a good introduction to the area.

“Rose Lodge - peaceful, relaxing, comfy and amazing local bird life”
Friendly welcome from hosts, obvious attention to detail for guests, treats in the fridge!(thank you so much), well stocked items in the kitchen, tea/coffee/sugar already in place, lovely internal and external lights to set ambiance and.... a box for your items and a hat if its rains while you're in the hot tub!! lol Loved watching the cows in the far distance. AMAZING local bird life!! Watching the buzzards circling. Get a bird song app! Our stay was for two nights, so peaceful and relaxing.
