The boat is so dirty specially the rooms we were not able to sit on the bad washroom was smelling and so dirty . Food they serve was awful i don’t know how they got good rating. It runied whole experience we checked out as soon as we reached port. Horrible experience

Our stay at Venice Premium House Boats was nothing short of magical. From the moment we stepped onboard, everything felt perfect. The experience itself was surreal. Waking up to those unreal, postcard-like views of Alleppey’s backwaters is something I will never forget. It felt like time slowed down, just us, nature, and pure calm. The food deserves a special mention. It was absolutely authentic, fresh, and full of local flavors. Every meal felt like a true taste of Kerala. What truly elevated the experience, though, was the warmth of the staff. A big shoutout to Pooja, our host, who went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. She did not just take care of us, she brought the place to life with her stories about Alleppey, its history, and culture. It added such a beautiful, personal touch to the entire journey. I went with my wife, and it turned out to be one of those experiences we will cherish forever. Would 100% recommend this to anyone looking for something peaceful, authentic, and truly special.

“Lovely room and friendly staff!”

Pooja was exceptionally friendly and made us feel very at home! Room was spacious and we had A/C at night. The food was delicious and very nice to sit in upstairs area in the evening with gorgeous views! Pooja also explained Alleppey’s history and culture to all passengers which we thought was lovely. They also help organise boating activities which makes the whole process so smooth and simple!

“Overnight boat trip”

5/3/26 The lake itself was beautiful, the room was good A/C good Food simple but good ,the driver of the boat friendly and tried to tell us about the things we saw, we had no other interaction with staff on the boat. People took tour and did not stay, I would have probably done the same, nothing to do on boat from 6pm docking until 8pm dinner and no drinks served except water after afternoon tea, so all inclusive means 2 meals one afternoon tea. You can get cold drinks at all. We paid above what I woukd have paid..it dropped by half when I looked on booking.com on the dates we sailed

I guess food.

This place has to get their systems together. First they said the price is 4050, but when contacted they mentioned 5000 and extra person is 2k, then they said 7500 and then 700 and asked me to pay instantly. By the time o was about to pay, they said sold-out. This place has horrobly failed out alleppey trip and I will never suggest anyone to them. Atleast 4 sixteenth prep contacted from different teams about one reservation and screwed up everything.

The stay was enjoyable. The itinerary was well thought out and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was mostly good and overall good value for money.

I was warmly welcomed onto the boat. I was a little bit late for checkin and they kindly waited for my arrival. Very grateful for this. Travelling on the houseboat did enable me to meet locals and I was very happy that I could.

“Not that great”

The boating cruise was good and the small boat tour for 300 INR was the highlight of the stay. The tour operator Pooja was lovely and very helpful, although she left at 6pm. I would recommend doing a day cruise rather than staying the night. All in all, ok value for money just for the boating. But wish we stayed and ate somewhere else.

Boat was clean ,hygienic. Centralized a/c restaurant was simply superb. Boat staff was courteous. I told to order bday cake 4my wife which they did fabulously. Cake was simply fantabulous which every guest liked it very much ,as I invited everyone in t boat to attend my party.

Boat was great, room was lovely and very comfortable. The speed boat tour was great and good price 300 for 40 mins down the canals.
