Wonderful hotel located next to the backwaters. The view was incredible, the staff was very kind and the facilities were perfectly clean and very comfortable. Breakfast was very varied and amazing!

Beautiful location, peaceful, picturesque and extremely relaxing. The staff were so attentive, helpful and friendly. The room was spacious with great views. The pool was spotless.

Food Average. The preparations, especially the North Indian items were not well prepared, wrt taste. Choices were limited Swimming pool was available only after 8:30 AM that is too late to start the day especially when u have your iternary outside the resort

A lovely hotel on the edge of a beautiful lake, the staff were very welcoming and friendly. The waiters in the restaurant were very attentive and especially Pranav, who looked after us extremely well on a daily basis. The grounds are delightful and the unexpected addition of two emus was an extremely pleasant surprise.

Everything was good, the resort is lovely to walk around and well maintained communal areas. Beautiful art on the wall, so many facilities, you can walk around the resort as there are beautiful things to see and bird sounds along with a view of the backwaters. food in the restaurant was good. The staffs are all lovely even the securities.

“A worn out resort”

The garden is nice. The Shakkura boat tour we ordered through the hotel was very nice. Some excellent staff, like the ladies at the Bell Desk and Concierge.

It was a very pleasant stay overall. The access road is a bit rough, but once you arrive, the experience at the hotel is very good. I received a warm welcome, the rooms are very nice, and while the bathroom feels a bit outdated and could be improved, everything is clean and functional. The surroundings are truly special — the facilities, the presence of animals, and the abundance of birds make the stay feel very close to nature and quite unique. This alone makes the experience very enjoyable. The spa was fantastic and definitely one of the highlights of the stay. On the downside, there were three or four power cuts during my time there, which made it slightly uncomfortable and prevented full relaxation at certain moments. Regarding food, I felt that the meals were a bit expensive in relation to their quality, and breakfast could also be an area for improvement. Overall, despite these small points, it was a very good stay that I would still recommend, especially for those looking to enjoy nature and a peaceful environment.

“Average, not worth the money.”

This resort is located at a prime location, near punnamada lake. First of all, the road leading to the resort is too narrow for any medium sized suv or temple. Not quite the fault of resort so would give that a pass. Upon entering the resort, you will be having a really unpleasant smell emanating from a small ditch/ canal leading upto the lake through the resort. This is completely within the resort and they could keep it clean- NO! Then rooms - good size and lake view but furniture and bed are quite old and in dire need of replacement. Same story with the bathroom- nicely built but a really foul smell from the water inside the toilet, again issues with recycling or pumping! Cleanliness is also bang average. 2.5/5 Restaurant(aambal) deserves credit and my only good experience there today. Staff were friendly and polite and food was great. There is a lot of variety with the menu. 4/5 Games / activities- there is a foosball table near restaurant which is good, rest all bang average. There is a chess and carom board placed at some random location infested with mosquitoes. Good luck! 2/5 Then there is a morning boat sightseeing service. Extreme expensive and reception and boat folks have different understanding of price. I had taken it and regret it. 3/5 Overall, there are so many hotels and resorts in and around Allepey. I would give this one a pass.

“Great resort with great facilities and staff”

Great resort with fantastic facilities for kids. The kids in particular enjoyed the various birds roaming around the property, including the emus. The staff were very welcoming and went out of their way to look after us.
