“Had expected Alleppey to be the highlight of our tour but we were disappointed”
No lock on cabin door. The didn’t seem to think it mattered. Staff kept knocking on door to tell us things we already knew. Boat trip just went through some houses and back.

“Beautiful backwater views”
Lovely views across the backwaters during our peaceful trip. The small boat through the narrower areas was the highlight. Food was also great, and our host Sinoj did a wonderful job catering to our special Ayurvedic diet. They also let us change our booking from 2 days to 1 day as that's all you really need.

“Excellent way to spend an evening/night in Alappuzha”
Southern Panorama Cruises is a must-do when visiting Alappuzha! The whole process is really simple and straightforward, and the boat itself is really comfortable, clean and well-equipped. The staff are absolutely fantastic, everyone was so helpful and welcoming, and the food is also incredible; fresh, tasty, and plentiful! The cruise itself was also great, provided a good view of the backwaters (although see below!) A few days before you arrive, you need to make a payment ahead of time to bank details that they provide. This is a little unorthodox for booking.com, but was legitimate and all worked well!

We liked the experience of the house boat. staff(Sinoj) was very kind and exceptional.We had and option to buy our own food(Prawns) and home cooked within the boat which was amazing and really tasty.

“Great value for money”
Fairly new houseboat with all the mod coms available. Good Wi-Fi, excellent size rooms, amazing and plentiful meals all the way through. At night they created lovely atmosphere during dinner, great crew that will get off there way to help, and plenty of activities during the day.
