“Best Homestay we’ve stayed at!!”

We loved everything, the room is a good size, the ac is a life saver, the shower is great, the wifi works very well, the location is perfect, right near the backwaters, punnamada lake isn’t far, the bus station only a short walk as well and the hosts are amazing. We really felt at home and we felt like we were staying with family. Their home is tucked away and very quiet both during the day and at night. They have 3 very cute dogs who protect their home but are very friendly. Breakfast was great every morning and they also let us leave our luggage for 2 nights whilst we went on a boathouse. We were able to have a few quiet beers on their front terrace and we loved chatting with them. This was truly a beautiful stay and we would 100% recommend this home!

Location: It's conveniently located close to the boat jetty, close to Allepey's commercial center (shopping), a 5 min walk to the KCSRT bus station, and ça. 10 min walk to the private bus station (to go up to Marari beach, ~40min) Breakfast: Delicious, and they're happy to provide a more continental breakfast Room: Extremely clean, bathroom really nice, good wifi, good AC unit

My stay was extremely relaxing and made extra special by the support and kindness shown to me by George and Binu. Binu provided me with lemon tea to overcome my upset stomach, following my arrival. After which I was soon revitalised and more than thankful for Binu's generosity. The house is situated in an oasis of calm, a welcome respite following my daily expeditions into Alappuzha proper.

Outstanding place to stay in Alleppey- ideally located in the city center though in a slightly remote place very peaceful and quiet. Very clean room with all facilities. Excellent home made breakfast. And exquisite hosts so welcoming and charming. By far the best Homestay we experienced during our one month trip in Kerala.

“Homestay vibes with the quality of a hotel!”

A homestay welcome with the accommodation the quality of a hotel! Super hosts and breakfast and comfy room with generous bathroom. Lots of lovely little touches - toiletries if you need them, a hairdryer (!) and kettle. And a little garden full of fruits and spices. Very helpful sorting out someone to take us on to Thekeddy.

“Fantastic homestay , great location , quiet with lovely hosts”

Great location, close to everything but quiet as set back from road. The hosts were so lovely and friendly and organised our tours on the backwaters, breakfast was excellent and coffee and tea available all day. The homestay was extremely clean and the bed had lovely cotton sheets and was comfortable, good hot shower and great aircon which worked well. The family pet dogs were friendly and we enjoyed petting them. We would have no hesitation staying here again and would definitely recommend to anyone.

We had a wonderful stay at Snehatheeram Homestay. The hospitality from Binu and George was outstanding, they made us feel truly welcome from the very first moment. Everything was spotlessly clean and very well maintained. The location is ideal: peaceful and quiet, yet still close to the main road and convenient for getting around. Breakfast each morning was fantastic and freshly prepared, with especially delicious dosas. We would happily stay here again!

We absolutely loved our stay with Bennu and George. The location is perfect for a base in Alleppey and the hosts organised a boat tour for us which was great. The room is comfortable and clean with great AC. The breakfast was delicious. We really felt at home as the hosts make you feel so welcome, a bonus was meeting their lovely dogs!

Central location, but is a calm oasis tucked away down a side street. Crisp white sheets, good pillows, tasty breakfast, great hosts and friendly dogs. Would stay again 😊

The hosts Binou and George were kind, friendly and respectful of our needs and privacy. They offered suggestions and helped with food and travel plans.

“Wonderful stay in Alleppey!”

The hosts, George and Bhoomi (I hope I got it right 😛), were genuinely nice, lovely people. They made us feel very welcome. The other guests, Gonzalo and Paloma from Spain, were also super nice. We stayed only for one night, but everything was wonderful: comfortable bed, clean room, good location close to the station, and a decent breakfast. Thank you very much, we will come back again.
