Very near to the beach and very friendly hosts. Got home cooked meals as well

The host, Made, is very helpful and friendly. She books rikshaws when needed and also the backwater boattrip she arranged. Her parents are taking very well care of the place and make sure you are comfortable. When there was no power and water they brought a bucket of water for shower. The breakfast is delicious. The beach is close. Allepey center is within reach.

I really loved the hospitality of this family. They received with a lot of kindess, a mango juice and bananas! The location is in Alleppey suburbia between the locals. It is outside of the city but since there is a nice atmosphere between the palmtrees and very close to the beach, i would highly recommend this homestay. This is a good place to unwind and to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. 🙂

“I came back for a second visit and it was absolutely worth it”

I came back for another visit after I stayed here already three weeks ago. It was a very good choice. The family was very happy to see me and gave such a warm welcome, I felt at home immediately. I only stopped for a night but still enjoyed the beach, watching some birds and I got the best breakfast I could imagine in a homestay.

I had basically an apartment with balcony for myself. It’s located two minutes from the beach, spacious, clean and the family running it is so sweet and lovely. They took very good care of me and provided tasty breakfast, water, and tea in the afternoon. The beach is calm and almost empty. Very nice stay to come down!

“Lovely, quiet family home stay right on the beach”

This is a real family home tucked away next to the beach at the edge of Thumpoly, but within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable and the meals were delicious and generous. The host arranged tuktuk, backwater trip and driver for onward journey. A truly enjoyable stay in a quiet village.

“Charming stay close to the beach”

We received a wonderful welcome from the elderly lady. The room was clean and nice, and the bathroom felt new and fresh. The house is perfectly located, just a stone's throw from the beach. In the morning, a delicious breakfast with coffee was waiting for us. Good internet connection.

“Beautiful and peaceful”

Justine's mom prepared a delicious Indian breakfast for us every morning. Tasty and abundant. Justine was always making sure we had what we needed and his mom was super sweet. During our stay they adopted an adorable little puppy they called Coco. The house is just a few meters from the beach. Picture perfect beach with white sand and fishermen boats selling their daily catch. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable. On our first night there, Justine's mom made dinner for us. Delicious. We really loved the location, only 4 km from the Alleppey light house. We walked along the beach to get to town. Took us about one and a half hours. It was a nice walk.

“Excellent”

This homestay is located in a small fishing village, just a fiew meters from the beach. I stayed here for three days and felt very comfortable. The room is spotless and very clean. The comfortable bed, the well-functioning air condition, the balcony and a separate living and dining area create a cozy atmosphere. The hosts are very friendly and helpful. They made my stay an unforgettable experience. I had breakfast, lunch and dinner every day. The food was excellent and the best of my trip through India. I hope to come back one day.

We had a great stay here, the room is comfortable, streaming services are provided on TV, breakfast changes everyday and allows us to try typical karalan breakfast. The family does its best to take care of us while Made (the owner) is abroad. She is very reactive by whatsapp though and ready to help for anything.

Very comfortable and clean place to stay. A 'real' Homestay. The location was perfect for us. You can't beat an evening stroll along the beach watching families and fishermen. It's a short easy ride to town. Easily arranged. The home cooked food was a real highlight for us. Wonderful lvariety and value.

“An amazing stay in a gorgeous fishing village hosted by absolutely awesome people.”

The property is very nicely placed within a 2 minute walk to the wonderful beach. The hosts are wonderful, eversmiling and take care of their guests very well. The complimentary breakfast was awesome with idiyappams, egg curry, omelette and coconut pancakes with juice. We loved it!

The place was extremely clean and comfortable. All amenities well at the top level. The hosts were so lovely and generous. They served us amazing local breakfast and even made us a delicious lunch thali on request!! Overall best stay so far!
